I get to have a nice, relaxing bath

As I stepped into Lucy's apartment for the first time since forever, I started to observe everything. It has been such a long time since I was last here, and I have to say that nothing has really changed. From her wall paint to her decorations, everything was exactly the same as before.

This day was so fucked up. My entire house was burned to ashes and I wasn't even able to recover anything. I only wished I was able to at least get a pair of boxers.

I sat on her couch as I tried to forget this day's problems.

"Wait here. I'll go get your clothes." Lucy offered. She then went upstairs.

At least Lucy was kind enough to let me stay on her apartment for a while. She really has been a blessing. I really have to find some way to repay her.

Maybe I could pay for her rent during my stay. I thought. That would certainly make her happy.

I stood up from the couch and I decided to take a nice bath. Since I wasn't carrying any luggages with me (thanks to a certain flame-eating idiot), I immediately went to Lucy's bathroom. I used her strawberry shampoo and her bubble-something-whatever. There were a lot of weird bathing things inside too. I also noticed a bottle labled 'feminine wash' which I concluded was only used by, well, females. Duh. No wonder she takes so long in taking a bath. With all these 'chemicals', it looks like she's having a ritual or something.

Deciding to relax myself further, I filled the tub with water (which was hot, much to my disappointment) and I soaked myself in it. I saw a bottle labeled 'bubble bath' which was supposed to be used on a tub, according to the instructions. I shrugged as I decided to use it.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to use a little, right?

I squeezed the bottle's contents into the tub and true enough, bubbles started to multiply. I sighed as I began to relax. I closed my eyes as the relaxing bath started to do its magic. The bath was so calming I almost dozed off to sleep. After several minutes, I washed the bubbles off my body by using the shower.

After washing myself, I realized that I didn't bring a towel since it was burned along with my house. I started to look for something to dry myself and I saw two towels on the towel rack.

Maybe the other one was for me. I thought. I should probably thank her for being thoughtful.

I used the towel to dry myself then I wrapped it around my waist. I opened the door and I was surprised to see her standing outside the door with an angry look.

"What are you doing?" she asked.

"Err... taking a bath. Obviously." I answered back. "Oh, I almost forgot. You gotta teach me how to use your heater. The water was pretty hot."

"Okay." she replied. She was still staring at me with that pissed off look. It was seriously making me uncomfortable.

"What?" I asked this time.

"Whose towel is that?"

"Oh! I saw this spare on the towel rack. Thanks Lucy." I replied, grateful for her thoughtfulness.

"It wasn't for you, jerk! That towel was for my hair!" she shouted. It was an annoying shriek. Don't get me wrong, Lucy is pretty sweet as long as you don't get on her bad side.

"You could've at least asked for my permission. You can't go barging like you own the house!" she shouted again.

"Okay. Okay. Here." I unconsciously removed the towel from my waist and I handed it to her hoping to silence her shrieking.

"W-what t-the...G-gray!" she shouted. Then I saw her blushing madly as she covered her eyes. "P-pervert!!" she screamed as she ran away.

It took a few seconds for my brain to register that I was freakin' stark naked. I hurriedly covered myself with the towel.

What the hell was I thinking?!

Before I could even realize how stupid I was, Lucy reappeared still blushing like hell and still covering her eyes.

"Y-your clothes." she said as she put down my clothes on the floor.

"T-thanks Lucy." I replied, stuttering due to embarassment.

She then ran back to the room leaving me alone to realize that my stupidity isn't that far from Natsu.

Shit.
