The day has arrived for the Tournament of Power to begin. People from all walks of life have come together for this very event. People from Kumo, Suna, and Konoha, both civilian and shinobi have also gathered for this day.
The people of Kumo and Suna interacted with the people of the west while the Konoha people avoided both the Kumo and western populance because not only were they hated here, but the Konoha were simply disgusted that the Empire allowed some of these races, especially demons, to live here.
Orochimaru and the rest of the Akatsuki were escorted by the Jedi guard into their separate stands. Meanwhile, the Konoha envoy were also seated in a separate booth that stood opposite side of the Akatsuki. Tsunade scowled as she looked straight at Orochimaru who was smiling knowing that her ninja had no chance at defeating them.
Meanwhile Kumo and Suna had a booth next to the Emperor's private booth. The Kazekage Gaara and the Raikage A sat beside Naruto and Hinata. Sasuke and Xenna were beside Gaara with Menma sitting on Sasuke's lap. Nemura was sitting with the Raikage as she cheered on for her husband Lee.
The Tournament took place at a large colosseum with three square shaped platforms used for the competitors.
Soon, the Chancellor spoke up at the podium.
Palpatine: Greetings people of Kumo, Suna, Konoha, and the Western Empire. We have all gathered here today for not only the celebration of the Unification Festival, but to participate in the third annual Tournament of Power. Otherwise known as the Tenkaichi Budokai!
Everyone cheered loudly as the first contestants enter the three platforms.
Palpatine: First, we will have the preliminary matches to see who will continue in the next stage. On the first stage we have Nara Shikamaru!
Everyone on the West side cheered on as Shikamaru shrugged off as usual and stepped on the stage.
Palpatine: And his opponent Jotaro Kujo!

Jotaro steps on the first platform as everyone starts cheering loudly again.

Palpatine: And on the second platform, we have a big shinobi with a big heart, Choji!

Palpatine: His opponent is Tenshinhan Tien!
