Just Relax

Being in his 5th year and between internships, Rain is very busy with his final, end of year project. Sky has been a tremendous help since Payu has been spending so much time at work. They work at P' Pai and Sky's place or at Rain and Payu's house each day after school. Everything is coming along nicely but Rain is concerned about his hubby. He promised to talk to Rain if there were any problems, but so far, nothing. He just feels the extra pressure is taking a toll on him. He's torn between sitting him down and having a conversation about it, or waiting for his hubby to come to him.

Do you have plans tonight

Rain-

Other than loving on my hubby? NO!

Payu-

Ok cutie

I just want to talk to you tonight

Don't worry, it's not bad

Rain-

Ok hubby

I'll be home when you get there

It's Friday and Rain has decided to forgo anything and everything school related for the rest of the night. He just wants to stay in with his hubby and talk about whatever it is that's on P' Payu's mind. After school, Rain stopped by the grocery store and bought all the ingredients to try and make a spicy noodle dish that he had at a restaurant he visited with P' Mai and P' Layla. As he waits for his hubby to get home he takes his shirt off and puts on the apron that his P' bought for him. It's bright blue with white stitching, the design HIS with an arrow underneath pointing to his right is embroidered on the front in white.

He starts boiling the water for the noodles and moves on to cleaning and de-veining the shrimp. He stops to put some rock music on the bluetooth speaker to listen to as he moves about the kitchen.

Payu walks in the door toeing off his shoes as he notices the most beautiful sight. Rain is rocking out to a Tilly Birds song as he travels around the kitchen in Rain's half of their couple aprons. Singing at the top of his lungs, Rain pours food into individual bowls having no idea Payu has just walked in and is watching him. Payu clears his throat as he steps closer.

Rain's head snaps up, "P' Payu, you're home." Rain takes both bowls and walks around the counter toward his hubby. "I made us dinner." Holding the bowls up as proof.

"It smells amazing...but, can you turn the music down, I can't hear you."

Rain quickly sets the spicy noodle mixture down on the table before sprinting over to his phone to pause the music. "Great timing hubby, you said you wanted to talk so I thought we could do it over dinner."

Ever his sweet and thoughtful boy. Payu takes a seat at the table as Rain grabs chopsticks and makes them two glasses of ice water. Rain sits down opposite his hubby. He grins from ear to ear as he picks up his metal chopsticks and digs into his meal.

"So...ummm, why is my baby not wearing a shirt under his apron? Hmmm?" Payu raises an eyebrow.

Rain looks down at himself, "Just a little something for my hubby." Rain smirks before shoving his face full of noodles.

Payu smiles, "Much obliged," he teases. Payu waits for Rain's reaction to his own cooking before he takes a bite.

"Mmmm, oh my god, P', I did it... I tried making the Spicy Shrimp Noodle recipe that I had at Thai Boat a few weeks ago and it tastes JUST like it. Try it P'." Rain taps the edge of Payu's bowl excitedly.
