With that one sentence came chaos. One second I was standing and the next I was pushed up against a wall by my throat by the light brown-haired man. his grip was firm enough to keep me in place. I probably could have gotten out of his grip but I didn't want things to escalate even further than they already had.
"Who are you and what do you want" The man growled, his hand squeezing my throat tighter. My eyes widen with shock as I didn't expect things to escalate this quickly but in my version, it was just Elijah and myself. I try to speak but can't as his grip is too tight.
"Niklaus release her" Elijah tells him calmly while walking over to where we were. Niklaus's hand on my throat disappeared only to be replaced with Elijah's hand on my wrist, He dragged me over to the couch pushed me onto it, so I was sitting and they were standing in front of me.
"Who are you and what do you want" Elijah asked repeating his brothers question. I waste no time in replying even though my throat is aching.
"As I said my name is Elisha Hart, my mother's name is Lorraine Hart. She's a witch and you met 14 years ago" I glance at Elijah who was still staring at me. He nodded when I mentioned my mothers name as if to say it sounded familiar.
"You meeting her wasn't a coincidence. She was working on a spell that could make a vampire fertile as she had heard of the hybrid and wanted to know if it was possible to create a vampire witch hybrid. She didn't want just any vampire she wanted an original though. Your two brothers were daggered still, and she wasn't interested in your half brother so you were her only choice. That's why she found you and one thing led to another and it worked as here I am" I concluded looking down at my lap.
"How do you know of all of this" Elijah asks using his hand to make me look at him.
"I read her diaries and she also told me littles bits and pieces about my father. She said he was a man of his word and that he hid his demons behind smart clothing." I tell him feeling uncomfortable with the amount of eye contact.
"That proves nothing. How did you find us and how do we know your mother didn't sleep around back then" Niklaus demanded.
"I found you by using a location spell. I used my own blood so that it would only lead to my father. As for my mother sleeping around I'm sure she probably did but I am half vampire and half witch and I've seen the spell in my mother's grimoire" I told him still looking at Elijah who finally let go of my jaw. Even though he let me go we didn't stop looking into each other's eyes, each of us trying to read the other.
"Prove that you're a hybrid" Niklaus demands interrupting Elijah and I's moment. Niklaus grabs me by the wrist and drags me into the kitchen while Elijah silently follows behind us. In the kitchen is a brunette woman and the blonde woman from before. The brunette looks at me confused while the blonde looks at me with curiosity. Before I can say anything I feel a sharp pain on my palm. I look down at my bloody hand while Niklaus stands there with a knife.
"What the hell was that for" I yell at him grabbing my hand and rushing over to the sink.
"If you're really half vampire then you should heal" Niklaus explains with a humourless smirk on his face.
"Couldn't I have just run to the other side of the room" I growl in his direction while I go to wash the blood off my hands. Not wanting to find out how Niklaus decides to make me prove I'm a witch I decide to levitate the water coming out from the tap. Once satisfied that I was in fact part witch Elijah nodded at me letting me know I could stop.
"Look I don't want anything from you. I just wanted to meet you once" I tell him. Elijah now stood next to the brunette lady. He looked like he was about to say something but before he could he was interrupted.
"You said there is a spell. I want to see it" The blonde demanded. She had left the spot she once sat at and was now standing so close I could feel her breath on my skin. Unlike her brothers I could read her. There was a hint of hope and desperation that lingered in her eyes.
"I I don't have it on me" I stuttered while a step back in hope to put some more distance between us. She went to speak but this time it was Elijah who interrupted.
"Rebekah leave the girl alone" he tells her leaning on the bench. "So, Elisha if all of this is true then where is your mother" he asked. This was the one question I was hoping wouldn't be asked.
"As of right now I'd say she has realised that I didn't come home after school and is already on her way here" I tell him looking at the ground.
"And where is home for you" Elijah asked once again making me look at him.
"New York" I say trying to look anywhere but in his eyes. He lets go of my jaw and takes a step back.
"You came here from New York alone without telling your mother. Do you know how dangerous that is" he fumed. I look up at him in shock. This is the first time since meeting him that he has shown any sort of emotion. Before I could think of a reply a loud crash in the distance caused us all to jump slightly. Niklaus walks to see what the noise was and we all follow him. We reach the front door that well was the front door but now it was nowhere to be seen. The only thing to be seen was a blonde woman who if looks could kill we would all be dead. I subconsciously take a step behind Elijah even though I had no idea what he would do in this situation.
"Where is she. Where is Elisha".
