Highschool spy

The dead body

Few days with Daniel was great. Every evening we would practice basketball, go out on dates..etc etc. I totally forgot about the mission. When I reached home late night after a wonderful date with Daniel. Austin with a disappoint and angry look was standing right infornt the door waiting for me.

"WHERE WERE YOU SO LATE?"

"I was with Daniel duh."

"WHY? HAVE U FORGOT ABOUT OUR MISSION?FOR WHAT WE CAME FOR??"

"Chill we are professionals . It could take us 1 minute to solve this case."

"1 minute huh? Did you saw the today's news?"

"No?" I said confused.

"Let me show you", after saying that he turn on the tv.

A cold chill went through my veins as I watched it in horror. A girl dead body was found in the backyard near the old fountain of our school.

After finish seeing the news, we instantly came on action. Austin drove to the location where that girl's dead body was found. We made sure there was no one there. When we reached there it was 3 a.m. , we put on our gloves and a kit. The blood was still there so, I took it as sample to send it to the lab. Austin whereas was searching for some clue he came across a gold ring. The gold ring seems familiar....then it strike me that was the same gold ring that Daniel was wearing in our date.

"What happened do u know whose ring it is?" He asked as he was my expression.

I nodded.

"Whose it is?"

"Dani~"

"DANIEL??"

I nodded again.

"I knew something was shady about him" he said with a serious deep tone.

"How? He seemed really nice guy to me though"

"Open your eyes Luna."

This was the first time he called me by my name. The way he called me filled butterflies in my stomach. I stared at his green eyes that was looking like a shining emerald in the glowing moon light.

Then suddenly we felt like someone is watching us. As I moved my head around we saw a shadow running away. Austin and I followed to catch him but it was just too fast. After running for a while it disappeared. Exhausted we went back to our house.
When we reached home it was already 5 a.m. Austin suggested we should skip school and I agreed.
