Remarkable (prt.1)

Chapter nine

(Xinterea's POV)

I fly over the New York City skyline and see Chihtauri shooting up the city. Heavily destroying millions of governmental property and buildings. I had placed an earpiece in my ear same as Xavier before we left and went to find the others.

I use my magic and take as much of them out. I then see lightning somewhere and I follow it. I then see everyone gathering, and Banner pulls up on a motorcycle. I see that Thor and Xavier are there, their red and blue capes were hard to miss. I then hear a roar coming a little ways behind a building, and I see my dad with a flying metal eel like thing flying behind him. "I'm bringing the party to you." He stated through coms.

"Tony?" I question as they look ready to fight. It starts dragging itself along the the road.

"I don't see how that's a party." Nat comments as she sounds tired.

Banner suddenly walks a little ways towards the direction of the metal eel, and captain catches it. "Dr. Banner, don't you have to be angry?"

"That's my secret cap. I'm always angry." Then all the sudden Banner turns green. And he hits the eel straight in the nose, flipping it, and I see Tony fire a mini rocket in a gash the amor created on the eel.

I fly down quickly and use my power to shield civilians around at the bottom of the bridge. Some of the explosive material hit's my exposed skin on my back, and I wince at the pain but push the thing off my shield and fly back up as the others get in a kill circle. Getting ready for the fight of their lives. I stand next to Clint and Xavier who's holding his spear and his own wings are out, whose next to Thor.

I grab my blades as I activate their blades, having a firm grip on my blades. Ready to kick some Chihtauri ass. I look to Xavier and check and see if he has any wounds. Which I'm relieved to say he doesn't. Can't say the same for me. All the Chahtari climb on buildings and some rip off their metal masks to scream and roar at us. I look up to the giant portal and mental slap myself. "That's a lot of hell coming at us." I mumble as Xavier glanced to me as he chuckled a little.

"Guys," Nat spoke as she too see's the portal.

"Call it captain." My dad says as we all turn to the portal.

The captain takes a few steps forward and turns to us, "Alright listen up. Until we can close that portal up there, priority is containment." He looks to Clint. "Barton, I want you on that roof. Eyes on everything, call out patterns and strays." He turns to Tony and my dad looks ready. "Stark, you got perimeter. Anything that gets more than three blocks out, turn it back or you turn it to ash."

Clint looks to my dad, "Wanna give me a lift?"

"Right, better clench up," Tony replies as they lift off the ground and get to their positions.

The captain looks to the God of Thunder. "Thor, put a lightning rod on the portal, slow them down. Use the lightning to light the bastards up." Thor uses his hammer to fly up to the Empire State Building and uses his advantage there.

"You and me will stay here and keep the fighting on the ground." And as he looks behind him to Nat, he looks to Banner, "And Hulk," The hulk turns with a grunt and smile. "Smash," The captain says as the Hulk takes off and does what he wants.

"What about us Cap?" I ask, and he looks to me and Xavier.

"Use your powers or whatever you can to stop as many of these things as you can. We need everything we got." The captain says to us both.

I nod and look to Xavier as we both jump off the ground and into the sky. We fly over towards the portal and Xavier starts blasting a lot of these things out of the sky as I slice as many of the things as I can with my blades. One manages to blast my wing, and I fall to the ground.
