The sun set over Paris, concluding another day of fashion week. The nights were becoming longer and the days were becoming colder, showing the end of summer and the start of fall. Leaves covering the ground and the smell of the holidays just around the corner. Athena pushed open the back door of the Saint Jouer Theatre, catching a gush of wind, blowing her long flowing maroon midi dress back revealing her cultish ballet dance frame. Her long black pin-straight hair danced around her before landing back down her back and the golden hour sunlight fit her bare face making her deep ebony eyes look like two obsidian crystals. She looked up and down the busy street hoping to spot a taxi nearby to take her to her apartment. After seeing an entourage of black cars with 'taxi' signs on top of them, she stepped out into the street hauling two Louis L'ivoire rolling trunks and a Chanel Gabrielle bag slung over her shoulder, her red bottoms clacking against the cobbled sidewalk. She put her hand out, hoping one of the passing taxis would stop. As they drove closer one of the cars pulled close to the curb and a short slender man emerged out of the driver's seat to help store away her luggage for the journey. Athena handed over her cases with a smile and sat herself in the backseat pulling out some headphones and turning on music to calm down from how chaotic today in the fashion world had been; 5 shows, no sleep, no food, a hangover and having to hide the fact she is in love with the man who dresses her.

As she was chauffeured back to her apartment, Athena scrolled through social media praying that she had looked good on the runway. As she looked through Instagram, she stopped at a post that came up causing her to smile brightly at her phone, a selfie of fashion designer Louis L'ivoire at the Louvre with his friends posted by Elle, the caption congratulating them on how incredible their work was this season but all Athena could focus on was Louis. A tall, slightly muscular man with short dark brown hair. His honey skin was covered in tattoos and his experimental, avant-garde fashion made him truly one of a kind (you'd never see him in a plain black suit it always had to have intricate cuts, angles or be draped in diamonds) Athena immediately liked the post and saved it before scrolling back down her feed seeing all her model friend's posts. Her scrolling was interrupted by a notification on the top of her screen. Her older sister had sent her a message. She opened it up and It was a link to an article about the show she was coming from.

"Congrats on getting in vogue girl!! Mom has been showing everyone the article lol you'd think you were missing with how much she wanted people to read about you 😭 Wish we were with you so we could celebrate together at the top of the Eiffel Tower 🥂 Hope you are having fun 🩷🩷"

Athena smiled down at the text and responded with a heart emoji before quickly clicking on the link excited about what Vogue wrote about her. She had been reading Vogue since she was 10 years old, Athena was so obsessed she once even wrote a book report on the publication. As the link loaded a photo of her showed up with the title:

'Who's Athena Roe and why was the 'it-girls' appearance at Paris Fashion Week so important?'

Her heart skipped a beat, not only at the article itself but at the fact Vogue just called her an 'it-girl'. Athena wasn't full of herself but she knew she was pretty, I mean anyone who saw her would agree. Her slim 5'10 body, monolid eyes, cherry lips, her straight rapunzel-length ebony hair ending at her knees that made her stand out in auditions. By all definitions she was perfect. So perfect in fact she had been given the nickname 'manakin' by all the designers she worked with as she had perfect measurements according to them. People were always telling Athena she looked like Park Gyuri from KARA and her sister would joke that that's the only reason she was signed to H.O.T model management.
