Maria- how they first met

A week later they were in a cooking class Risa was bad at cooking which made her food burn Daisuke was paired up with Maria's brother Shiba

Daisuke's pov

I was really curious about Maria ever since we met 3 years ago she hasn't really given me too much detail on her family life

'This is the perfect opportunity to ask her brother how she's like at home' I thought to myself as I saw Shiba cutting up some mushrooms

"Um..." I wonder what I should address him as "call me shiba" he said making me jump 'it's strange how he knew what I was thinking'

"Your saying your thoughts out loud" Shiba said "oh...sorry..." I said rubbing the back of my head nervously "what is it you wanna know" Shiba said

"How does Maria usually act at home" I said making Shiba hum at the question "from what I can tell she has changed the way she's acted much...but that was before..." Shiba said then glanced at me

"Before...?" I asked confused Shiba smirked "forget it you wouldn't understand it's better to ask Rosearia about these things or better yet ask Maria yourself" Shiba said as class ended

The next class...

I decided to ask Rosearia next "hm how Maria acts what do you mean?" Rosearia said "does she act differently than she does at home" I asked

"That's a tough one to say...Maria has always been the oldest triplet so she's very mature for a 14 year old I couldn't really tell you much" Rosearia said

I frowned "I see" I said that doesn't leave  me with much to go on "but I can say ever since the day she met you she has become a lot calmer she rarely fights with Shiba anymore which is a relief on my part" Rosearia said

"When she met me?" I asked pointing at myself Rosearia nodded "not only are you here first friend your also her..." Rosearia stopped abruptly

then Rosearia covered her own mouth as if she was about to say something she wasn't supposed to say "I'm not allowed to say the last part it's classified" Rosearia said secretly

Near the end of the day...

3rd person pov

Daisuke frowned crossed his arms and sighed 'what's got you so gloomy' dark said in Daisuke's head "I just want to know more about miss Crossheart it feels like she's a stranger to me" Daisuke said

'How did you end up meeting her anyway' dark asked in Daisuke's head "it was 3 years ago when I was 11 years old I remember it like it was yesterday" Daisuke said

Flashback to 3 years ago...

Daisuke was asleep in bed he kept having this weird dream about a girl with black hair but he couldn't see her face properly

Daisuke woke up in a daze "again...how many times has that girl appeared in my dream" Daisuke said and then wiped the sleep out of his eyes

"Oh well" Daisuke said and got out of bed so he could get some breakfast "Daisuke don't forget your lunch" his mom said

"Alright mom" Daisuke said and ran out the door with a piece of bread in his mouth he quickly rushed to the tram and got on

"Hey Niwa how long are you planning to loaf about we need to get to class or we'll be late riku Harada said as they rushed into the classroom

The bell rang for the start of class "you nearly got detention niwa" Takeshi said then the teacher walked in "alright settle down you lot" the teacher said

"We have some new students joining us so give them a warm welcome" the teacher said and 3 new students walked into the room

"Please introduce yourselves" the teacher said "my name is Shiba Crossheart it's a pleasure to meet all of you" Shiba said

"My name is Rosearia Crossheart I hope we all get along swimmingly" Rosearia said as Maria stared at Daisuke discreetly Shiba nudged her side

"It's your turn" Shiba whispered making Maria sigh "don't nudge me" Maria whispered under her breath "my name is Maria Crossheart if there is anything you want to ask go ahead" Maria said

'It may have been my imagination but I'm sure I caught her looking at me' Daisuke thought to himself "hey are you all siblings" Risa said

"We're triplets" Shiba confirmed "have any of you been in school before" Takeshi said "no we were homeschooled before we came here" Maria said

After school...

Daisuke was walking until he noticed Maria in an alleyway she was feeding a hungry kitten "go ahead eat up grow big and strong" Maria said softly

"Miss Crossheart" Daisuke said making Maria jump and freak out "don't do that you almost gave me a heart attack" Maria said a breathed in a sigh of relief

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to..." when Maria turned around he saw her emerald green eyes that shined in the light

End of Flashback...

'That's how you met her seems a little too good to be true if you ask me' dark said in Daisuke's head "I know she looks like she's mean but she's actually a good big sister" Daisuke said

"Daisuke" Maria called out making Daisuke stop and look at her "uh yes miss Crossheart" Daisuke said she sighed "call me Maria honestly...you forgot your bag" Maria said handing him his school bag

"Oh guess I overlooked it my bad" Daisuke said "hah sometimes I wonder about you making me all worried and such it's like you enjoy making me worry" Maria said

Daisuke then decided to ask her "hey miss Maria" Daisuke said making Maria look at him "how do you act at home rather than at school" Daisuke said curious

Maria thought about his words and smiled to herself "maybe I'll tell you when you get over that habit of calling me miss and call me by my name more often" Maria said with a smile on her face making Daisuke swoon
