Hey diary it's ya girl Khi Khi and this is my first time writing in a diary every! If I like it imma keep doing it, but tomorrow I get on a flight to move back to my hometown in Chicago. My family moved to NYC when I was 14 because of my dad's job, but a few weeks ago was his funeral. He died because of a truck wreck, and I'm still grieving but that's the reason I'm leaving New York. But anyways to the happy parts of my life, I am moving to my Auntie Mae's house, my mom's best friend. I've been there before cause me and her daughter Michaela, have been besties since 4th grade, so I'm super excited bout that but I really need to get some sleep for my flight in the morning, so good night diary.
—————-6:00am September 12th————— Khi's pov: I just woke up about 12 minutes ago and l'm laying in my bed scrolling through TikTok on my iPad, knowing I should be getting dressed. "Khiyana Marie!!!! Wake yo butt up girl" My mom bust in my room and I jump up out of bed, and hide my ipad behind my back. "Gimme that iPad too" She walks over to me with her hand out. I as I walk away from my bed and towards my bathroom. "I'll be fine, ma. Imma go get dressed so-" "Uh uh I'll be taking this." she snatches my iPad out my hand. "Hurry up cause you need to get dressed and finish backing." she closes my door and leaves me there shocked. Did she just take my- yerp she sure did...at least I still got my phone
I walk over to my closet and pull out some comfy clothes and set them on my bed as I get a ding on my phone.

.....and spray champagne toast perfume and finish packing all my things and head down stairs and saw the moving truck already leaving.
"It's time" "Yep" "I'm gonna miss it.....and him" I glance over at my mom who's zoned out and has glistening eyes, I walk over to her and hug her. "He's always with us mom. He loves you and so do I." "Okay stop before you make me cry." she brushes off herself and sighs. "I think our Uber is here so let's go."
