Chap 1

Note: I have no idea when NCIS Hawaii will return, so who the heck knows what this show's timeline will be at when it does. But this is something I think about a lot, and I know the LA cast have expressed interest in 1 day reprising their roles, so again, this is something I think about a lot. Enjoy the story.

Main tech room.

'Hey Sam, what's up? Everything okay in Morocco?' Jane asked when Sam videoed in.

'Not too good. We're all doing the best we can, but it's not really easy trying to track down someone who's been doing who knows what for 2 years. The reason I'm calling is because we've had a troubling new development.' Sam grimly replied.

Immediately after Callen's wedding, he and Sam had gone to Morocco to find Hetty, and had teamed up with some old friends.

'What kind of trouble?'

'We've found evidence that suggests that Hetty may have been taken prisoner.'

Intense silence.

'Oh my God. Are you sure? How bad are these people you suspect?' Jane asked, sounding distressed.

'We found her blood at the cave we inspected, and her armrig. The people we believe took her are rumored to have ties to human trafficking rings.' Sam replied. 'We're working against the clock to find her, but it's not going as fast as we want it.'

'How is everyone doing in the meantime?'

'Callen is a mess. He said some things to Hetty 2 years ago that he regrets, and he's desperate to find her. Nell is trying to hold it together, but she's definitely scared. She and Eric have been helping Hetty since she went back to Syria. I've already alerted the others back home, but we can't do this entirely on our own, we need lots of help it we're going to take on a big trafficking ring. Are you with us?' Sam asked.

'Absolutely. I'll get my team together immediately, and I'll call the DC team and ask them for back up. That good?'

'We'll need all the help we can get, because this will not be an easy rescue mission. It might just be the most dangerous rescue mission the OSP has ever done.'

'More dangerous then that Mexico mission a few years ago?' Jane asked.

'Even more so then that.' Sam replied.

Endnotes: How much would it hurt to hear of Hetty once again being a prisoner? Very much, even though the last 2 years of LA teasers more or less said that she would eventually need to be rescued.

But if hearing something like that could lead to a huge crossover event covering the mission, I'm willing to hear it.
