"Cassie!" Mom shouted. Ugh. It was the first day of summer break, and I was getting woken up at 6 am. What was the problem with mom anyway? "Cassie!! Cassie" mom was screaming her throat out. Yeah, mom I'm coming! I screamed back. "What??!! I cant hear you. You better not be screaming across the house" so yeah, this is my mom. Does something, yells at me for doing it back. If I ever dare tell her not to scream across the house, she'll say something like, "you're going to tell me the rules now? !" And gives me the ultimate death glare. I tumble out of bed, yawning, as I check my instagram feed. OMG OMG OMG. I just got thirty two likes on the selfie I took at the mall!!! I know that thirty two is nothing, and that ask my friends get hundreds of likes, but for me, that was enough. I go thundering down the stairs, and run into my mom as I'm coming into the kitchen. "Mom! ! Mom! ! I got thirty two likes! !!!!eeeeekkk" "that's great." That's all I get. "Now what do you want, cereal or toast?" she looks up at me. I stay silent, and try to shoot laser beams through her eyes, but she just says "hurry up. I'm not a waitress here taking the order of your food." I pout and say that I want chocolate chip cookies. "You don't want to be gaining weight" another thing, I am not fat. You can just call it a cute little roll over my waist. "Ugh. Mom. I'm NOT fat. Please stop it. " I sigh and ask for toast. My mom looks at me. Come up at get it, my mom challenges me. "Ugh. "I groan again. My mom diverts her eyes over to the stairs where, Brianna, my beautiful, prefect 15 year old sister sister, her blond hair gleaming in the sun. The sun had started to get up, and that's when my sister went for her daily jog, showing off her polished legs in under Armour shorts. Before this, she had just meditated for an hour. My mom's glare turned into a smile, kissing my sister in the cheek. "Good morning sweetie" "good morning mom" Brianna chirped. It was no secret Bri was mom's favorite. She was everything I wasn't. She was pretty, popular, and a straight A student. She woke up at five every morning, meditated for an hour, went jogging for an hour, came back, took a shower, ate breakfast and then studied for an hour. After that, she was free to do whatever she wanted, while I whiled away the time on my phone. My mom called my sister "efficient". Psh. I'm not saying she isn't, but it really gets annoying. All the teachers know me as Brianna jhonson sister. All the sports coaches new me as Brianna jhonson's sister. The whole town knew me as Brianna jhonson's sister. All my friends thought I must be so lucky to have such a popular sister, but trust me, it gets annoying.
