After trapping myself in my hotel room for the days; I decided it was time to face the world. I needed to find value in my life. I need to find peace; something I haven't felt in years.

I'm sure I look horrible I've been crying for days; my hair is a mess but today that stops. Looking at myself in the mirror I smile at the woman looking back at me. She has life in her eyes; A small smile on her face cheeks a little flushed hair pinned in a bun. This is a new me a fresh start; I'm claiming my life back, they've took everything from me.

No more.

Walking out I'm blinded by the sunlight; squinting my eyes to adjust to being outside after days locked away. Looking at my surrounding I see mountains beautiful big trees.

This is such a beautiful town and I think I'll like here. I have money to last me awhile; but I want to work a normal job. Walking into town I look at all the stores.

I see a coffee shop, book store, clothing stores and so much more. I haven't eaten in two days, it's not something thats new for me I'm use to not eating for days. Making my way towards the cafe I see a help wanted sign.

A small smile graces my lips; I could do this serving people. I've been serving people half my life. Although this is a lot more different I'm sure I'll be fine.

Walking though the door i feel like I've been wrapped in a warm blanket. This place is so peaceful; just as lively as it was the first day I was here. The chatter of all the customers and the hustling and bustling of the kitchen workers.

Everyone here seems so happy I want to find that happiness again. Taking the same booth I had last time I decide to skim over the menu; I want something different. Having hot food is new to me.

Just as I decided on what I wanted the same waitress from last time greets me. "Ahh see you've came back! What can I get you today?"

I didn't think she would remember me; I guess it makes sense she seems to know everyone this is a small town. "Yes I love the food here, I'd like the house special with orange juice please"

"Great choice! One of my favorite meals here. I'll be back with your drink and food." I nod my head towards her not sure what else to say. She sends me a soft kind smile.

I know I might look like an idiot but I'm not use to having conversations with people. I really need to work on that if I'm going to work here.

Not too long later my food comes and I eat like it's my last meal. I mean I haven't eaten in days. I look around making sure no=one saw me eating like a pig; I find everyone in their own conversations.

After paying my bill and leaving a tip I make my way to the front; I'm met with the same waitress. "H-hi u-um I sa-saw the help wan-wanted sign"

I scold myself for all this stuttering. I close my eyes taking a deep breathe to recenter myself. "I'd like a job I have a good memory and I'm a fast learner."

She smiles at me like she knew something I didn't. Shifting from foot to foot anxious as I wait for her response. "We were waiting for you wait right here I'll be right back."

I let out a breathe I didn't know I was holding; fiddling with my fingers waiting for her to come back. I try to calm my racing heart I need to get myself under control if I want this job.

I feel people heading my way making me look up; my breathe gets caught in my throat. I scold myself in my head for not speaking I felt stuck in place. "Hello I'm Jordan I'm the owner of this cafe I hear you're looking for a job."

Strong and Husky is what I'd describe her voice as. She doesn't look like a she. She's tall; hair in a bun on top of her head I can see her muscles busting through her tight shirt.

Beautiful big hazel eyes plump pink lips medium size nose. She's beautiful if I do say so myself. Finally coming out my daze I take a deep breathe introducing myself.

"H-hi I-i uhh I'm Hayden yes I'm looking for a job I seen your help wanted sign." I stop taking before I embarrass myself anymore. "Ahhh yes the sign." She says as if she didn't put the sign out there but doesn't let it show too much.

"Yes we are we need another waitress for our afternoon shift. Its one of our busiest times of the day."
"Co-cool yeah I can do that when can I start." Damnit I'm a stuttering mess right now I need to pull myself together before I make a bigger fool of myself.

"You can start tomorrow your shift will be from 12-6 for now until you get the hang of things." I can see the waitress behind her smiling creepily I ignore her; turning my attention back to Jordan "Okay perfect I'll be here thank you so much for this."

"Don't mention it. Just wear jeans and a plain white tee I'll order your uniform today see you tomorrow Hayden." She says turning around leaving before I can say anything.

I come face face with the waitress who name I still don't know. She seems to be missing a name tag. "I'm so happy to have you work with us! My name is Jessica I'll be training you." Finally got a name out of her not that I ever asked.

"Cool I'm really excited I need this I really do thank you so much." A look of sadness crosses her face but it leaves just as fast as it came. "No problem I know you'll love it I'll see you tomorrow Hayden." I walk out the cafe with a wide smile on my face. Feeling a sense of relief this is the start of my new life.
