Life was so much better, easier when both of my parents were around. Here's what happened, I still remember like it was yesterday.
7 Years Ago..
I was just 9 years old, and I didn't have a care in the world, but that night is the night that everything changed.
I was saying my goodnights to my loving father and mother. I thought everything was just fine, but I was wrong. I wasn't to deep in my sleep when I heard..
Mama: "I'm done Chris, I can't go on living with you like this."
Daddy: " I'm just trying to provide for the only people that matter to me, why can't you see that. "
Mama: " But you providing for us, can harm us, I'm scared, do you not see that? And I will not live if something happens to Janaia."
Daddy: "So are you gone leave?"
Mama: " I'm leaving tonight, but I'm not taking Naia, I want you to change for her, to do better for her, bye Chris."
It was quite and I was confused, I walked down to their room to see if everything was okay. When they wasn't in their I ran down to the livingroom.
I seen bags and my eyes started to tear up.
"Mama where are we going? " I asked trying to hold back tears.
"Babygirl I have to leave for a little while," she said while moving a piece of my curly hair out my face, " but dont worry I will be back"
By now I was in tears, " Why, why mama?" I asked
"Its complicated, but I will always love you Naia dont forget that," she said kissing my forehead. "I love you too Ma. "
And with that she left and she never came back. My daddy was heartbroken, and so was I.......
