3. Hum jo chale, tum bhi chalo saath

They bid their goodbyes and went to sleep in their respective rooms, not before deciding to stay a day more to explore the city and whatever they think needs their attention. Vidhi spoke to HP and Vimla and Dev spoke to Satyavathi that they were doing fine.

The next day, Dev was the first to wake up. He gets ready orders for some coffee and knocked on Vidhi's door to wake her up. When Vidhi doesn't open the door to 5 mins. He opens the door and enters her room to see, her lying in the bed peacefully. He goes closer to her, puts his hand on her shoulder and says Vidhi uthjao. We need to go out today and have to be there intime. Slowly opening her eyes, Vidhi sees Dev sitting beside her, she immediately sits up covering herself. Dev immediately shifts his gaze from her to anything else in the world.

Maine coffee order kar diya hai, aake peelo. Vidhi, gets ready quickly and meets Dev in the hall. Ok Vidhi, once we have coffee, we can start our day. Vidhi says, sir hum Kahan jaa rahe hai? Sir Kahan tumne abhi mujhe? Sorry, hum Kahan jaa rahe hai? Tum nahi sudrogi. Chalo pehle..

Dev rents a car and they both head out. They reach the hospital where all the arrangements have been made for all the check-ups for Vidhi. Vidhi is shocked to see that they are in a hospital. Why are we here. We know I am alright now. What is going on? Am I not well? Did my parents allow me to come with you because of this?

Dev simply says, you have been given unknown drugs which may have manipulated your entire system. My thoughts is to get you completely checked with the best doctors and services and make sure none of this will affect your health in the future.

Vidhi says I am tired of hospitals and doctors, can we do it after a few days? Dev says, your promise yesterday, you need to fulfill it today and I will forgive you with the Amba thing. Vidhi, was proud, happy and angry all at the same time with Dev.

She obliges his request, the doctor suggests complete blood work and a full body CT scan and MRI to rule out anything. By the time they are done with the hospital it is almost night. The doctor mentions to them that they might have to come back as there was a malfunction with the CT scan machine and they are sure if the images were saved timely and they would let them know once it is fixed

Dev and Vidhi head back to the hotel to let HP know that they stay would be extended by two more days. They decide to go out for dinner. Vidhi gets ready in her usual salwar and Dev sports a t-shirt and jeans. At Dinner, Vidhi, finally asks, I understand your concern, but Indore is not a small place, we have good hospitals too, why did we have to come to Delhi for all of these things?

Dev says, like I already said, we needed a break from all the drama. All the nightmare all of us have been through. I wanted us to spend sometime together without any other person around us all the time. I am sure we have learnt a lot about each other in the past 24 hours than we knew before. Won't you agree?

I agree. I never knew you actually had casual clothes almost have always seen you in suits and t-shirt one time at khaugali. Dev asks, so what do you think? The point of this exercise is for us to understand how we are in our real life when we are at home, not work, not when we meet outside. I am not trying to make a move on you Vidhi, but I want you to be sure of what life with me entails and I want to know how your day starts at how it ends at home.

So, now that we are here for few more days and we don't have to visit the hospital until they call, what are we going to do? Vidhi asks. Dev, responds, we can go for shopping, site seeing anything you want. Vidhi, says I am game for anything except for a hospital visit. I have had a friend who moved to Delhi, I will try and get in touch with her and then let you know the plan for tomorrow. As You have planned today, tomorrow is my day. Dev just nods and says yes ma'am .

They both reach the hotel, both not sure if they should hug, or kiss before they go to their respective rooms. Dev, says Vidhi I am not sleepy, are you? Vidhi, quickly responds that she isn't sleepy either. Dev Says, why don't we change into our night wear and watch TV here until we are sleepy? Vidhi agrees. They both change and head to the hall, they sit of the sofa with two cushions distance and Dev starts scrolling the channels. They Decide to watch a movie rather than sports or news or random TV show. They land on a random movie and start watching. The movie turns out was a dull one which didn't hold withers interest and they both start talking about various things including what street food they want to try to what they want to shop tomorrow and slowly the two cushions space is all but gone and they sit facing each other in an animated conversation.

After sometime when they notice the time was almost 3 am and they decide they should catch up on sleep. But Vidhi is very nervous to sleep by herself in a new place and has anxiety after the whole fainting episodes. Either Bimla or Seema had being accompanying her so that she is taken care of if and when she has nightmares. Dev, senses something is off and asks her what the matter was, Vidhi mentions about the nightmares and how she is scared to sleep alone. Dev, says, but you slept alone last night. Vidhi, I couldn't sleep until the morning and I was scared of being alone, so I don't even know when I got tired and slept.

Dev, pulls her close and says why didn't you come to me? I am there for you. I am always there for you? Vidhi reluctantly says, I have a confession and a question. Dev nods asking her to go on. Confession is, that I am not sure how control my emotions after we kissed yesterday. It is as if an unknown spark has been lit. And seeing you in these t-shirts, it is very different feeling altogether. Dev says, hhmmm.. so madam likes my casual clothes more than my formal clothes. And the question?

Vidhi, asks him to sit and she asks, what do you think of my dressing. Please do not give me an answer to please me. Dev, sweetly replies, I love your simplicity. I love everything about you and your dressing is a part of it. Vidhi, feels relieved, but says, what if I want to try something else? Dev with a sudden shock asks what do you mean? We will go shopping tomorrow, soI want to try something new which I haven't tried before. Dev, not sure but nods and says, so what about your sleep situation?

Vidhi doesn't answer and keeps looking everywhere but him. Dev, stands up, asks her to come with him and they go to his room, he asks her to sleep on his bed and he will sleep in the couch as his room has one and hers doesn't. She says, I will sleep on the couch, you sleep in the bed. Vidhi, you know, I am not going to accept that. Vidhi says we can share the bed and I trust you enough that we will be waiting until the wedding. Dev says, what about you? You said you are having troubles controlling your emotions. Vidhi, says do you want to sleep tonight or stay awake?

They don't say a word and pick a side of the bed and stick to it and doze off.
