Chapter 34: The big match

5th match is currently in progress: Team Aoyama and Uraraka against Thirteen-the match is almost over..

Y/N POV:

"AAAAHHH—BUT WE WERE SO CLOSEE!!"

Uraraka shouted as her and Aoyama held onto a metal bar to not get sucked by Thirteen's black hole.

"There's no way I'll let you get away that easily!"

Thirteen said. Aoyama looked like it was a normal day for him as he held onto that bar—while Ochaco was having a crisis trying to figure out what the hell she could do in this situation.

"Thirteen really isn't holding back on them.."

Midoriya said beside me.

"Nope."

I continued to look at the screen—although I wasn't the biggest surprised by Thirteen's performance, I knew she wasn't gonna harm them, she was too caring for hurting a student. My point being proven as Uraraka suddenly let go of the bar, floating towards Thirteen, making her close black hole out of shock giving Uraraka an advantage to grab Thirteen's arm then Aoyama flying in and grabbing Thirteen's other arm, pining her down as Ochaco placed the cuff on her wrist—winning the match.

Team Uraraka and Aoyama had passed the finals!!

The honk sounded.

"Uraraka's judgment was great! I can't believe she thought of using her opponents power to get in close!"

Midoriya spoke excitedly, happy for Ochaco's win.

"Ribbit—I don't know, it looked to me like Ochaco just lost focus and let go for a second."

Tsu said, making me nod. She was right—the two were talking for a little while before what Ochaco did, so it must have been something Aoyama said to her..

"Oh really?"

"Mhm, the two of them were talking."

"I wonder what Aoyama said to her that shocked her so much."

Me,Tsu and Midoriya spoke, all three of us curious about what Aoyama said that made Uraraka like that. Suddenly, Ida and Momo entered the monitor room. My face lit up when I saw momo, waving at her as she smiled and waved back.

"Uraraka won, not surprising, I'm happy for her!"

Ida said, smiling as he looked at the screen.

"Yeah and you both passed too! Congrats!"

"Yes, congratulations!"

Midoriya and I spoke, smiling at the two as Tsu let out a small ribit while Ida and Momo nodded and smiled at us.

"Thank you for your enthusiasm."

Ida thanked us, a small silence filled the room before Tsu spoke again.

"Now that this match is over, who's next?"

"Ashido and Kaminari—they're going to have to fight against principal Nezu."

A shiver ran down my spine as I heard Momo's words, making my mask shift a bit in place.

"Is there something wrong Y/N?"

Midoriya asked as he looked at me, actually, all four of them did.

"Oh-uhm, yes, I'm alright—just that—let's say principal Nezu tends to, overreact, in fights."

Momo, Midoriya and Tsu looked at me a bit confused, only Ida nodded and looked back at the screens.

"We'll have to watch this fight closely."
