A case most bizzare of all from India is a about stoneman killings. The police had cremated the case, just because of no clues. Although police at some point was stuck with their brains too, they were not able to understand the intersection of the murder.
In 1985, where a killer terrorised the streets of Mumbai. One day police finds a dead body, it was so brutally murdered, that police was not able to identify the face of the body. It looked as if someone has hammered the body's head with a very heavy object. So, just because of no clues police, sent it for a postmortem. Because of no legal identification and no relationship appearances police, cremated the case and stopped investigation.
After, a few days, police again found a body but now in some other sector of Mumbai, postmortem states that the body was murdered between 2'o clock and 4'o clock. Police was in the facade again.
Since then, one body per day was found, still police was not able to understand that their is an relation in all these cases. Something which was very common in all was that all the people who were killed were the poor and needy and slept on footpaths.
People who lived in the houses, rich bungalows were terrorised, however what about the ones who slept on the footpaths, the still had no choice, rather than testing their fate. Who knows whether they can never be able to wake up from this long sleep.
Finally after the 6th body was found, police begins the actual investigation.
They found bodies.
