The gorilla guards were gone with the Furious Five in tow, Shen looks intimidating to the young wolf in this hauntingly red ember lighting within the Fireworks Factory interior.  Zen jitters to his feet, as he stands before Shen, until he's greeted by Shen's halberd, as the albino peacock points it at Zen, directly.

"So... you are this "Zen" your parents had mentioned, hm?"
Shen seemed curious about Zen's capabilities after hearing about his parents' mentioning of him.  Zen's ears perk up at the mention of his parents, "You... you knew them?"

"Oh, if I can recall I did much more than 'know' them, boy...  I actually came across them during my... well, the final years of my exile, so to speak."
Shen recalled his period of exile, and the moment he had last seen them, to which he gave off a sinister smile.  This perplexed Zen, as he demanded to know what happened, "W-What happened to them!?"

Shen sharply sighs, as he begins to calmly declare to Zen, he begins to withdraw his halberd and approaches Zen.  He clicks his tongue three times, and shakes his head slowly, thinking of a way to bring this wolf such terrible news, "How... worthless you must've been for your own flesh and blood not to care about you, not to give you the time of day... To the point, where they even abandon you, all in an attempt to look for my second-in-command."

"Get to the point!  What happened to them, you psychotic bush turkey!!"
Zen impatiently shouts, as he immediately rushes to grab one of the handheld cannon contraptions on the walls, much to Shen's surprise, and annoyance that he was insulted by someone lower than him.  However, that annoyance in his expression fades into a far more sinister expression, Shen is leading on to where he'll inevitably dig into Zen's psyche, "You want to know what happened?  Very well, then, allow me to tell you... but first... that cannon isn't loaded.  None of those are."

"...W-What...?"
Zen looks confused, and as soon as the young wolf drops his guard, Shen takes the opportunity to take his right eye with his knife with a swift motion.  Zen takes a moment to react, before he drops the hand-cannon, and then he screams out in agony and then Shen fans out his feathered tail and throws another knife that misses with a rope attached as the peacock launches forward to knock Zen out cold with his metallic talons for feet.
But before Zen fully passes out, Shen coldly stands over him, and ominously whispers in his ear, "You may have her eyes...  But it's such a shame you won't ever see them again..."
