Library Lovin (Shirusu Mochizuki X Reader)

~Waking up Next to You!~

Today you feel really excited! Your home ready for a cat and your outfit... Could be date ready, but you were unsure if this was a date or not.

Luckily it was easy to find a place to get a cat at, Mochizuki has connections with a lot of the locals because of his work at the library. And that's how you found yourself with him looking at a bunch of adorable kittens!
Of course you dressed for the occasion, casual and cute! Like you didn't want to be too cute, but, you still had to keep that casual look.

Mew! Mew! Meow ~

The kittens were quick to distract you from your thoughts "Awww~ so cute!" You cooed and glanced to Mochizuki. He was surprisingly serious with his arms crossed, you had to hold in your laugh.
"Mm? Oh have any of them caught your eye?" He asks adjusting his glasses "Oh!! Umm I'm not really sure yet... All of them are just so cute!" You say enthusiastically grinning at him.

The two of you went to the middle of the group of kittens and you sat down criss cross. A few of the kittens were scared of you and ran away from the both of you, you frown a bit disappointed.

Mew, Mew, Mew!

"Huh?" You see a cute calico kitty happily run up to your leg and rub against it. You and Mochizuki share a smile and you pick up the kitten "Hello, little one." You gently pet it and held it to Mochizuki who carefully pet it's head.

The person that was in charge of the kittens walked to you as you held the kitten,  nodding with approval. "That'll be the perfect kitten for such a cute couple like yourself!" He said cheerfully causing the two of you to blush. You glanced at Mochizuki and saw a blush on his face, you've never seen him blush before so your heart fluttered at his cute expression.

He walked you home with the kitten and since you had everything set up already. It wasn't that difficult to get the kitten settled and Mochizuki has decided to leave. "Ahem,  thank you for having me with you Y/n. It was quite the experience." He said "Thanks for coming with me! I know you can be busy."
"Of course, it's no problem. And actuality I've wanted to say about earlier..."
You look at him confused "Earlier? What is it?"

Mochizuki flushed red and adovid your gaze. He hesitated "Well, um I'm sorry if you were uncomfortable earlier. When he called us a couple I... I didn't correct him."

"Oh..." You blush suddenly unsure of how to respond "Well it's fi-fine, after all I didn't say anything either."
Both of you stood in silence for a bit "Alright then... I'll see you later Y/n." You nod "Yes! I'll see you later and thanks for coming with me today."
Mochizuki left and you didn't have much time to dwell on what just happened as you played with your kitten.
