"It's nice to be able to talk with someone with similar experiences to mine" - Steve Rogers

The quinjet was rather packed between all the agents, Kyra, Bruce and Natasha, Bruce looked rather uncomfortable so Kyra offered a seat next to herself which split him from the other agents which calmed him slightly.

Kyra handed Bruce a tablet displaying several people, "these are the people we will be working with, you've already met two of us". Bruce lost himself in looking at the tablet clearly wanting to learn what he could before approaching them.

Kyra sat back in her chair, "The objective is to retrieve a cubed object named the tesseract, it was stolen by a man or god depends how you see it known as Loki". Bruce nodded along while he read up on everyone who he would be working on.

Bruce sighed and turned to look at Kyra, "is there anyone I should keep my eye on while we work?". Kyra thought for a moment, "well you'll probably be working alongside Tony Stark and he can tend to be testing at times so probably him". Bruce nodded thankfully and went back to reading the tablet.

The flight wouldn't be long but Kyra decided to take a short nap, it had been a while since she slept last and in between then and now she had done some rather physically intensive work.

An announcement over her earpiece woke her up. "Ok everyone we're approaching the helicarrier now". Natasha who was flying warned before everyone who had stood up during the flight now quickly sat back down and belted themselves in.

When the jet landed and the back ramp was lowered the other agents quickly made their way out probably wanting to debrief and relax. Natasha after finishing her final checks got up and stepped into the back of the jet ready to get off as well, "Kyra, Bruce if you'll follow me please". Both of them grabbed their bags and followed Natasha off the jet and across the landing deck.

Natasha turned towards both of them and gestured towards another landing jet, Kyra and Bruce fell into a comfortable light-hearted conversation about themselves while Natasha went to meet whoever she needed.

Their conversation came to an end though when Kyra spotted Natasha walking back towards them, "well well look who it is". Bruce turned his head and spotted who she was talking about. Natasha walked up to them and stood beside Kyra waiting for them to introduce themselves.

"Dr. Banner". Steve walked up to Bruce and shook his hand, "Yeah, hi. They told me you would be coming". Steve nodded, "Word is, you can find the cube". Bruce looked around in an anxious manner, "Is that the only word on me?". Steve was quick to reassure him, "Only word I care about". Steve then turned towards Kyra and held his hand out to shake hers, "Miss Young it's a pleasure to meet you, I've read up a lot on your career in the army and what I saw was rather impressive". Kyra shook his hand, "Pleasure is all mine, even amongst the British army you were spoken of with a lot of respect. I grew up with my father telling me stories about some of the stuff you did, gotta say it takes immense bravery to do what you did. It's an honour to meet you Captain America". Steve looked slightly awkward showing he might have some ptsd from when he went into the ice, "I just did what I thought I had to but thank you for the compliment". Kyra just smiled and nodded.

Bruce sighed before turning to Steve, "It must be strange for you, all of this". Steve nodded slightly, "It's actually more familiar than you might think". Kyra turned towards Natasha being done with their conversation, "Correct me if I'm wrong, Agent Romanoff but given that this is a helicarrier I imagen we are about to take off no?". Natasha smirked and shrugged, "I don't correct people who are right". Natasha turned back to Steve and Bruce, "Gentlemen, you might want to step inside, it's going to get a little hard to breathe". Steve and Bruce looked at each other before the ground rumbling caused them to stumble.

Steve and Bruce walked over to the edge of the carrier Steve looked almost impressed, "is this a submarine?". Natasha and Kyra glanced at each other smirking, "really they want me in a submerged container". Bruce looked almost amused before his and Steve's eyes widened in realisation when turbines began surfacing out of the water. Bruce chuckled slightly, "Oh no this is much worse".

Kyra, Steve and Bruce followed Natasha into the main control room. Kyra walked up to a railing and watched as tons of agents were working at each individual station. Each station was controlling and maintaining part of the carrier making sure everything worked in synch as they launched into the air. Kyra turned to face Director Fury when she heard Agent Hill call out to him. She was giving him the all clear to finally disappear into thin air. Fury nodded and some agents activated the reflective panels making the helicarrier vanish.

Kyra looked back towards Fury when he spoke up, "Rogers". Steve didn't reply just slipped his hand into his pocket pull out some money and gave it to a smirking Fury. Fury turned and shook Bruce's hand, "Doctor, thank you for coming". Bruce sighed as he returned Fury's handshake, "Thanks for asking nicely. So, how long am I staying?". Fury answered, "Once we get our hands on the Tesseract, your in the wind". Bruce didn't hesitate to ask, "Where are you with that?". Fury motioned for Phil to answer, "Were sweeping every wirelessly accessible camera on the planet". Kyra nodded as Fury walked up to her, "Nice to finally meet you Pathfinder, I was hoping you would join us your skills and experience will be needed". Kyra smiled at him, "It's good to be here but please just call me Kyra". Fury nodded before turning back to Phil as he continued explaining their plan, "cell phone...laptops. If it's connected to a satellite, it's eyes and ears for us".

Kyra looked over towards a screen Natasha was staring at, on the screen was an image of a male agent. She walked over towards Natasha before placing a hand on her shoulder, "is that Clint Barton?". Natasha nodded, "Yeah, you haven't heard anything during some of your travels have you?". Kyra could see the small hope in her eyes and sighed, "no I wish I could say I have but I haven't and doing this wont find him in time". Bruce agreed with her, "you have to narrow your field. How many spectrometers do you have access to?". Fury pondered for a moment, "How many are there?". Bruce shrugged his jacket off as he responded, "call every lab you know. Tell them to put the spectrometers on the roof and calibrate them for gamma rays. I'll rough out a tracking algorithm, basic cluster recognition. At least we could rule out a few places. Do you have somewhere for me to work?". Fury glanced over towards Natasha, "Agent Romanoff, could you show Dr. Banner to his laboratory please?". Natasha stole one last glance at Kyra before she motioned for Bruce to follow her, "Your gonna love it doc, we got all the toys". Kyra sighed while walking over to the table where Steve had sat down, "I guess we just wait for now". Fury didn't respond he just walked over to a few screens and nodded.
