The training facility at the Avengers compound was alive with the sounds of impacts as the sun began its descent, casting long shadows across the room. Inside the boxing ring, the former Shield agent sparred with relentless determination, her fists moving in a blur as she exchanged blows with the punching bag.

"C'mon, man, it's been like 4 years now. I'm ready!" she exclaimed, sweat dripping down her forehead as she delivered a powerful jab.

Tony, leaning against the ropes of the ring, rolled his eyes at her eagerness. "Really? You think you're ready?" he retorted, his tone skeptical.

"You know I am!" she shot back, her voice filled with conviction.

Tony sighed and climbed out of the ring, walking over to his water bottle with a shake of his head. "Your hair looks like a unicorn threw up on your head..." he quipped, eyeing her appearance.

"And? What does that have to do with me being ready?" she countered, a smirk playing on her lips.

Tony pondered for a few moments before finally relenting. "Okay, fine. You're capable, yes," he admitted begrudgingly. "Look, the team will be back shortly and I'll introduce you, okay?"

"Yes!!!" she exclaimed, her excitement palpable as she bounced on the balls of her feet.

As Tony turned to make his way out of the gym, he called back over his shoulder, "Just watch your mouth. Rogers doesn't like foul language."

"Fuck him!!" she exclaimed defiantly, a grin spreading across her face.

Tony smirked and glanced back at her. "Please don't!" he shouted back before disappearing from view, leaving her alone in the gym to savor her impending introduction to the Avengers team.

An hour later, the Quinjet descended smoothly into the Avengers' hangar, its engines humming softly as it touched down. The team inside had just completed a grueling mission that had kept them away for the past week, and exhaustion hung heavy in the air as they disembarked from the aircraft.

Dragging their bags behind them, the weary Avengers trudged through the hangar doors and into the compound. Their footsteps echoed through the empty corridors as they made their way towards the elevator, eager for the comfort of their own quarters and a well-deserved rest.

But just as they reached the foyer, FRIDAY's voice echoed through the speakers, cutting through the quiet with a sense of urgency. "Attention, Avengers. Please report to the conference room."

The team stopped in their tracks, exchanging weary glances and sighs of annoyance. Dropping their bags with a collective thud, they turned as one and began to shuffle towards the conference room, their shoulders slumped with fatigue.

The group shuffled into the conference room, their exhaustion evident in their every movement. Bucky huffed as he sank into his seat, voicing the collective sentiment of the group. "Do we really have to do this right now, Stark?" he grumbled, rubbing his tired eyes.

"We just got back, man. I'm tired. And hungry," Sam chimed in, slouching in his chair with a weary sigh.

"You're always hungry, Sam. And I need a shower," Natasha added, her voice dripping with exhaustion.

"Guys, c'mon. Let's just get this over with now so we don't have to do it tomorrow," Steve interjected, trying to muster some semblance of energy as he settled into his seat beside Bucky.

Clint, Scott, Wanda, Thor, and Loki all took their seats around the table, their weariness mirrored in their expressions.

"Sorry, Cap. Still have to do a debrief tomorrow," Tony replied with a smirk, earning a collective groan from the team.
