With that levi packed everything he thought he needed then leaving
He made his way to the entrance to go to the surface
Having guard stopping him
"Move" he shot a death glare making the guard move to the side not looking into his eyes
Levi made his way up the stair seeing a bright light
After he walked though he took a breath in closing his eyes
"I didnt think ill be back here" he said to himself
He walked around seeing everyone looked depressed
He saw a woman sat at the side of the building with a baby in her arms
He walked up to her
"Excuse me but...what happened here"
The woman just looked up at him
"Captain levi? Is that you?"
"Uhh yes its me can you explain whats going on?"
"You havent heard?...wall maria has fallen the titans came my husband was killed" she said holding her baby closer to her
"Im sorry for your lose...thank you for telling me" with that he walked away walking around again
"Captain?"
He turned his head to see petra with her hands full with bags
"Petra..long time"
"Y-yeah it has...what are you doing here" petra asked
"I um..im going to join the scouts again"
Petra looked surprised before smiling
"Then lets walk to quarters together" with that they both walked to the scouts main quarters levi holding some of the bags petra was carrying
When they finally got there cadets did the salute seeing levi and some just looked surprised to see him
"Isnt that captain levi"
"Yeah but i heard he retired"
He heard some cadets whisper
"Hey petra im going to erwins office see you later" he said giving the bags back
"Ok see you later"
With that he walked to erwin office quickly
When he got there he knocked on the door
"Name and business"
"Its levi"
He didnt hear anything for a bit
"Come in"
With that he walked in shooting a glare at him
"Wheres Y/N" he asked a stern voice
"Well its nice to see you too"
"Where is she"
Erwin sighed
"She left this morning with her squad, hange and eren"
"Squad?"
"Yes shes officially a captain" erwin said simply
"And eren? Whos that?"
" eren has the power to turn into a titan at will but he still needs to comtrol it....im guessing Y/N didnt tell you any of this"
Levi just looked away clenching his jaw
"Hm..are you mad at her?"
"Of course i am" levi said raising his voice abit
Erwin didnt say anything
"So what are you gonna do now?" Erwin asked
"Give me my station back"
"Somebody already is captain of your old squad"
"And are they better then me?"
Erwin didnt say anything
"Exactly call a meeting for my squad there old captain is back" with that he walk out
He was walking down the hall when he couldn't help but hear some scouts talking so he hid and listened
"Who would win captain levi or captain Y/N" the first cadet said
"Captain Y/N" said the second
"What no captain levi for sure"
"Have you seen captain Y/N move shes so fast apparently shes the fastest cadet to become captain"
"But captain levi is a legend humanity stongest soldier"
"But didnt he leave just to be with a woman"
"And whats wrong about that" levi stepped in
Both of them saluted
"S-sir i ment nothing of it"
Levi just looked at him with disgust
"Have you seen a titan? Seen some one you care get eaten alive over and over again?"
"N-no sir"
"Then you have no right to blame me for trying to live a normal life even if its not for long you idiot"
He said before turning away
