The sound of the shell horn rung throughout the village, catching the attention of everyone, in and out of the water. (Y/N) and Tsireya perked up. "What in Eywa's name..?" Tsireya questioned to her sister in sign language under the crystal clear water.
(Y/N) shrugged, they both saw large ikran fly over them. The sisters looked at each other and immediately started swimming over to the patch of sandy land the ikran landed on.
The na'vi who had arrived had skin as deep as sapphire stones compared to the Metkayina's light aquamarine blue skin, and their animals traveled by sky, instead of sea.
"Come on (Y/N)!" Tsireya signed as she grabbed her sister's arm, pulling the older sibling in the pretty coloured water.
While the Mio Te'fiti sisters were swimming over to land, the eldest sibling, Ao'nung, was already on land, he walked over to the new comers, with a suspicious glare. Ao'nung and his friends, approached the Sully family. Their eyes glue to the teenage Sully boys. The forest na'vi gesture 'I see you' to the boys showing they meant to harm. "Look what is that? Is that supposed to be a tail?"
They mocked. "Baby tail!" The second eldest son, Lo'ak rolled his eyes, Neteyam the eldest, elbowed him. The Metkayina laughed at the boys remark. Neteyam and Lo'ak looked out onto the water's shore, spotting the reef women standing up out of the water. The two reef na'vi girls walk out of the water.
Tsireya helps her sister up as they walk, both treating the other like a precious gem, treating their sister's with utter most respect and delicacy. Tsireya brushed the sand off her thighs while (Y/N) shook her thick, fluffy, black hair dry.
Tsireya giggled at her sister's display of playful entertainment. Neteyam quickly looked down with a slight blush on his cheeks.
"It's too small. How are they supposed to swim?" Rotxo said in confusion while Ao'nung straight up bullied their thinner tails. Poking them and trying to pull on the.
"Ao'nung." (Y/N) scowled her brother. "Do not. Leave them be.""Hey." The older sully son greeted, tilting his head up a little. (Y/N) nodded in acknowledgement, Ao'nung silently hissed as he saw his twin respect an outsider.
Soon the clan's leader, and Tsireya, Ao'nung, and (Y/N)'s father, Tonowari appeared on his skimwing, letting out yips to his warriors. The leader exited the water, nearing Jake and his family.
"I see you." Tonowari says to Jake, doing the same motion as Neteyam and Lo'ak did earlier. The rest of the family greets the Metkayina's clan leader. His wife, and the children's mother, Ronal making her way through the crowd.
"Why do you come to us, Jakesully?" She asks with a slight scowl, her eldest daughter, (Y/N) held onto her shoulder to calm her.
Jake looks back at his family. "We seek ukturu" Opening his arms with awkward smile. Ronal takes offense. "Ukturu?" Ronal asked, astonished. "A sanctuary for my family." The tsahik left her daughter's side, nearing the forest na'vi. Tonowari speaks. "We are reef people, you're forest people. Your skills will mean nothing here."
"Well.. We'll learn your ways, alright?" Jake says, trying to get a home to rest. (Y/N) did a 'no no no' motion against her neck, trying to warn him not piss off her mother. "Yes..." Ronal grabbed at Neytiri's tail, then grabbed Tuk's arm. "Their arms are thin, their tails are weak." Ronal said, grabbing Kiri's, only to be shooed away by a offended Kiri. "You'll be slow in the water, these children are not even true Na'vi."Ronal exclaimed, holding up their five fingered hands to the reef clan. Gasps coming from the Metkayina clan. "Yes we are!" Kiri argued, snatching her hands away. "They have demon blood!" Showing Lo'ak's hand. More gasped came from the people, some stepping back. But (Y/N), being the curious sister, was in awe of Lo'ak's hands.
"Look! Look!" Jake waved his hand own five fingered hand in-front of Ronal to take the heat off Lo'ak. "I was born with the sky people and now I am na'vi. Alright you can adapt. We will adapt! Okay!?" He said in the slight distressed tone.
