When I look to the skies
I see white puffs of cotton
When I look again
I see white puffs of cotton
Smothered carelessly over a background
Of tangerine and scarlet
When I look to the seas
I see an endless valley of blue
When I look again
I see cerulean waves
Crested with diamonds
When I look to the grass
I see blades of green
When I look again
I see blades of jade
Some with edges crisped by sepia
As the edges begin to die
When I look to the trees
I see leaves of green
When I look again
I see a canopy
Painted with moss, emerald, and even vermillion
When I look at you
I see hair like sand
I see eyes like the sea
I see a smile like the sun
And a face full of glee
When I look at you again
I see you the same
I guess that means I already see you
Through rose tinted glasses
