I didn't expect tonight to end this way, I was supposed to be here, at the club with my boyfriend, and my so-called friends dancing the night away. Instead, I'm at the bar on my fourth shot of tequila. Danny and I got into a fight, so he left a half hour ago, Margo is at some girls house having a blast, and everyone else is out on the dance floor. As I ask the bartender for another shot, a girl comes up beside me she's tall, slightly Gothic, and has tattoos and piercings everywhere, I must admit I was a bit intrigued, "Can I buy you a drink?" I look at the mysterious girl wide-eyed and finally have the courage to mutter,"sure." Slightly slurring my speech, she chuckles in response. "Excuse me." She turns to the bar tender, "Yes ma'am?"
"Wiskey and another of what she's having." She takes the stool beside me."So what's a gorgeous girl like you doing here all alone?"
I turn to her "Well my friends abandoned me, and my boyfriend, well, at least I think he's still my boyfriend left because I found out he was cheating." He eyes widen as I utter 'boyfriend' her eyes soften whilst I continue "Damn, I'm sorry that's fucked my friends abandoned me to honestly." She softly smiles as if saying I'm not alone. It was honestly quite comforting. "What's your name?" I warmly smile, "Charlotte." She responds softly, offering a hand."Harlow, it's nice to meet you, Lottie." I slightly blush, accepting her handshake, then it hits me. I can't be blushing at a stranger in a club. I have a boyfriend. My thoughts are quickly interrupted "Maybe we can continue this conversation when we're not so intoxicated?"
"Definitely." She takes my number down and exits through the door. Little did I know that was only the beginning...
