6 - First talk

ROOH POV

He is so close to me. I could feel his breath. I was so lost in his brown eyes that I couldn't sense that he was calling me until his deep soothing voice reached my ears

'ROOH'

"Ji" i replied instantly

" You we're so lost, anything happened by any chance you are not happy about this wedding proposal ?" He asked me in a worried tone

He looks so cute when he is worried small temple lines appeared on his forehead, his lips formed a small pout his brown eyes widens. I noticed my hands are in his but it didn't make me uncomfortable rather i felt secure, his hand were as cold as ice , his long fingers were touching my skin i could his veins popping out. My thoughts were again disturbed by him

"Rooh aapko fever hai kya " his right hand touched my forehead

( Rooh do you have fever)

I couldn't stop blushing, i said in a stuttering voice it's ok- okay, I'm fine and about the wedding it's fine by me

He finally noticed his hands, then withdrew it back , 'sorry' he said in a low voice. I just nodded in response

I asked him hesitated " Can I sit on that swing?"

He replied with a  smile on his face "yes, you can rooh"

He look more handsome when he smiles it really suits him i moved towards the swing and sat on it , he stood behind the swing and gave a little push to swing

"You should smile more it suits you"

"You should wear red more, it suits you well"

It reminded me the day we first met I was wearing a simple plain red anarkali, i chuckled at his compliment

"So are you forced by Aditi aunty for this marriage." I asked him while looking at ground, he was giving little push to swing time to time

"No, it's not like that I'm almost 28 now, i hope you don't mind?"

I just hummed in response, i personally like older men. Just like romance novels

"So, should I take it as yes rooh" I could sense his presence near my right side of face as he stops the swing and bend towards my right ear. My voice got stuck in my throat, i could feel butterflies, or maybe a whole zoo why he is so close to me. Oh my God bless my heart, it's gonna come out at anytime soon

I just nodded, my mind went blank as I couldn't find words to explain

"ROOH, I want to tell you something about myself before you say yes for this marriage to elders "

He came infront of me and took a sit beside me, he inhaled a deep breathe and continued "Rooh, I-

Anika and Sanvi came running towards us and shouted " Bhaisa and Hamari hone wali bhabhi ma aapko sab andar bula rahe hai "

They dragged me by holding my both hands from each side. He wanted to say something, I turned my head back , i  saw him leaned on swing he passed a warm smile and started walking towards our direction. We were back in the hall again, its quite lively as if it's a family gathering

Inaya dragged Rajveer towards her seat. Are they friends or siblings?

I sat beside my maa sa, she whispered in my ears " you like him, is he your type?"

Rajveer is a calm natured  guy, he look cute when he is worried. I kind a like him that day in hospital the first thing that attracted me was his brown eyes, though brown eyes are common but his colour is unique, I don't know but I see some spark in his eyes and the second thing was his smell, smell of fresh musk and mix smell of  red wine, it can attract any one towards him
