Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy. The very mention of his last name sent shivers down the spine of everyone who heard it in the wizarding world. The Malfoy family was the infamous family, who under leadership of Lucius Malfoy helped Voldemort in his army during the second wizarding war, and although this father Draco wasn't particularly proud of his contribution to the war, under his careful eye, Scorpius grew up living the Malfoy lifestyle, rich and wealthy and comfortable
Scorpius himself however was vastly different from his family. It was true that like his father he delved into classical literature and philosophical discussions like his father, but that's where the similarities end. He was kind, sensitive and empathetic to others, even those who were below his class, and to the great despair of his father, helped out at a charity organization whenever he could. He and that one other Potter were openly gay, but he didn't much care for him, or at least he didn't think he did.
He liked punk music and, often blasted it way too loud on his speakers. His alpha male-goth choice of expression was often chastised by his mother, but he paid it no mind despite the repeated threat of being thrown out the house. His personal preference was to wear makeup, which again was chastised heavily by his mother for being "unmanly".
Academically, Scorpius was a stellar student, scoring the highest grade, acing OWL's and was an overall pleasant person. School was the only place he felt like he could be himself, and express who he truly was without having to mask in front of his family. He was, other than his few quirks, the true pride and joy of the Malfoy family.
