"You mean to tell me there's still no sign of activity from your end either," Nathan asked as he listened to his communicator, currently searching through a box he had brought into his dining room. Granted, the area looked more like a mix of futuristic and ancient thanks to some of the items he had gotten over the centuries from Zika and building off pieces that he originally had from Zandar, but to him it felt more like home than anything else. "Not even a hint of something popping through the atmosphere?"

"Not even little blips that would come from Stingwingers," Zika responded through the comm, Nathan walking to a bigger box before he opened it, looking through it's contents as he continued to listen. "There were signs of meteors coming into the atmosphere that disintegrated during the descent, but that was about it."

"That's extremely concerning, knowing how Furio's temper would usually have him coming down again by now," Nathan responded as he moved a large jacket out of the box before he saw what he was looking for, reaching in. "Found it."

"There's also a rumor that's been going through the galaxy recently that Treacheron is closing in again," Zika spoke as Nathan pulled out a small box with a lock on it, soon walking to the table in the room and setting it down beside a leather book, his diary he wrote in years back. Beside it was a set of papers with varying dates, something he had been working on the last few days while he was looking for the box in front of him. "There's also no contact coming in from the Guardian either, so we can't confirm or deny on the matter."

"Maybe, but the fact that Scorpius hasn't returned yet means he's still safe at least," Nathan responded as he looked at the items. "Keep an eye out on the planetary readings, see if there's any anomalies at all. Furio isn't one to just sit back for long periods without planning something, and the way he is now only makes that fact more apparent."

"And to top it off you have an extra six rangers to help out with the situation now," Zika responded, making Nathan sigh as he pulled out a chair, sitting down. "I'm honestly surprised you were so calm in talking with them, though."

"I had to be, it turned out they were the friends Eric made," Nathan responded as he rested his head on his hand, leaning into the table. "I know from Ivan that they didn't mean for the Earth to be destroyed, and the reactions of the rangers basically confirmed it. Despite that, and all the time I've had to sit on it, I still feel so much rage. Even with Keeper's statement, I still feel this anger..."

"And yet you're still helping them to understand the situation instead of lashing out," Zika spoke through the communicator, making Nathan shudder as he closed his eyes. "You're even giving them your diary so they can go and see Ivan, as well as the only other key to Zandar's vault that you have."

"That's because I've seen what being driven by anger can do to someone," Nathan responded, his eyes still closed as he went through his memory. "I told you about what your dad was like in the original timeline, but you didn't see how bad it had been. He was willing to sacrifice innocents for his vengeance, even if the monsters tried to use them as shields. He may have redeemed himself in the end, but what he did is a clear message as to why I have to keep from ever ending up like that..."

"Something you also didn't think of until Ivan had befriended you," Zika responded, making Nathan unconsciously chuckle as he opened his eyes again, looking down to his morpher. "Speaking of, I got to read that legend people were talking about for your fight with him while I was over there last. It's strange how they don't mention that you two were friends before the fight and claim that it became the case afterwards."

"It was a way to make the story a better tale for teaching during the time," Nathan responded, leaning back in his chair as he was remembering it. "After the Battle of Steel and Fang, relations with the neighboring kingdoms of Zandar were rocky at best. Using the fight between me and Ivan in that fashion allowed the kids who heard the tale think that even their bitterest enemies could become their closest friends quickly..."
