Thomas invited me to stay the night. And we were all snuggled up on the couch and I was awake and he was asleep. I started having flashbacks of me and Aja and I started crying again which woke up Thomas. And I explained everything to him and he pulled me closer and I cried myself to sleep in his arms.
The next day I got up and gently woke Thomas up and told him I was going to Aja's house to see her one more time. When we got there I ran to her room and she was still where we left her. Me and Thomas rolled her over onto her back and I looked at the necklace around her neck. She was wearing mine and her "best bitches" necklace. I touched hers with my left hand and mine with my right hand and a tear rolled down my face. Thomas put a hand on my shoulder and I explained that we had gotten the necklaces about 5 years earlier and neither one of had taken it off. We promised each other that which one of us died first that we would make sure that we were still wearing our necklaces.
We got up and went back to my house and my mom had lunch made for us. I didn't feel like eating but I did eat a little bit. We don't have WiFi or running water or electricity or heating or cooling and no phone service. I went for a walk with my gun and knife. I killed 9 walkers and found a store so I ran back home and got my mom and Thomas and we took my mom's car and raided the store and found a bunch of drinks and food. We loaded up all that we could and went back home and put it in our closet. We found a Monster energy drink and some goldfish crackers which was Aja's favorites so I went back to her house and set them in her room next to her and locked her bedroom door from the inside so I couldn't see her again.
When I got home me and Thomas went to my room and was talking and we were cuddled up on my bed. I started to cry again and Thomas lifted my face in his hand and kissed me and I felt better after that. And we left my house with food and drinks and we accidentally met up with Rick Grimes's group and they asked us to join them. And we accepted andi took them to meet my mom. But when we got there she was a walker.
