She awoke, suddenly she's surrounded by him again. His hands, his breath, the feeling of his body pressing against hers. She wants to scream, she wants to cry, she wants to yell..but she can't. Her voice is gone. All she can do is lie there just feeling him on top of her. His words, the words he spoke to her that one rainy night on the roof top where he whispers "its all going to be alright"

The feeling of him on her holding her down, the feeling of him inside her. Oh how she just wants it to be over. And then it is. Its over. Hes gone.

Flash forward to present time

But its never really over is it? He's always there. The police released him not too long ago due to lack of evidence and false witnesses testifying he was never with her and she's made the whole thing up. She's crazy. Psycho. Mental. Delusional.

"I'm fine" she'd say. Brayden listens. He knows she's lying. He hates seeing her this way. He knows she would never lie about such a thing. He sits next to her keeping his distance. He knows to be wary. They sit in silence for a few minutes before he breaks it and quietly says "I just wanted to let you know if you hadnt noticed the time Althea is going to be coming over for dinner tonight and she's bringing Marco" thank goodness, Althea is Kora's best friend. She's the first one Kora could ever tell about what happened.

A few hours pass. Kora hears a knock on the door. They're here. She hears mumbled voices from downstairs

Voice 1 (woman): hows she doing
Voice 2 (man): she hasn't left her room all day
Voice 1: for fucks sake seriously
Voice 2: yeah she's been zoned out pretty much every time I go to check on her it was only when I went upstairs to tell her you guys were coming i got a response out of her
Voice 3 (man): want me to go try get her out
Voice 1: shes not gonna wanna see you dingus ill go get her
Voice 3: alright jeez sorry. Someone's cranky
Voice 1: shut up

This made Kora giggle even though she was kind of hoping to see him. With his gorgeous emerald green eyes and lips that she could kiss for hours and his hair. Oh his hair, so smooth so dark.

She snaps out of her little zone when she hears a voice "Kora, Kora hellooo Kora"
"Oh hi Al" Kora says as she comes back to reality
"Hey she's awake" she hears her brother come in with another set of footsteps behind him
"Alright finally we can get the party started" she hears another mans voice. Its Marco. "Thank god" she thinks to herself. She then clicks onto what he says "party?"
"Yeah babe its your birthday soon" Althea exclaims
Kora checks the little clock she keeps on her beside table. It reads 19.47.
"Oh my goddd" she exclaims.
"Yeah well done idiot" Marco sighs
"Shut up dingus" Althea rolls her eyes "ignore him babe hes in a bad mood"
"His girlfriend broke up with him a few months ago" she whispers to Kora
"I heard that! She did not break up with me it was-"
"A mutual agreement" they say at the same time.

"What? You've been pining over her for weeks you gotta stop"
"Its not that simple" he exclaims
"Well maybe if you just-" Althea starts before Kora interrupts saying "Fine we'll go out. You never know Marco might be able to find a girlfriend this way"
"Omg yaay I love you so much" Althea squeals
"Yeah yeah I'm only doing it to shut you up" Kora says rolling her eyes
"I don't care. We're going out. That makes me happy enough. Let's get ready. Get out guys we'll meet you downstairs in an hour" Althea squeals pushing Marco and Brayden out the room.
"Alright were going jeez" Brayden laughs
