Chapter 28: walks and movie night cuddles

Ona decided her and Lucy should take a walk  out on a quiet, picturesque walk in a nearby park. As they strolled hand in hand, the gentle breeze rustling the leaves around them, Ona couldn't help but wonder about Lucy's feelings and when they had begun to change.

With a soft smile, Ona looked over at Lucy and asked, "Lucy, can I ask you something?"

Lucy turned her gaze toward Ona, her eyes filled with warmth. "Of course, you can. Anything."

Ona hesitated for a moment, trying to find the right words. "When did you realize you had feelings for me? I mean, when did you know it was more than friendship?"

Lucy's expression grew thoughtful as they continued their leisurely walk. "You know, Ona, it wasn't one specific moment. It was a collection of moments, all those times we spent together, all the laughter, the support, the way you looked at me.
