a couple years have passed and even thought that day was burn in to the back of his head he tried his hardest to not think about it everyone that used to come around and check up on his family slowly stopped

the memory of his mother was slowly fading from everyone but two people and that was him and his grand mother his mothers mother she was the only reason he would be so calm the long nights his father would drink and beat him he would run to her house she adore him give him food and money for school anything he needed

through out school he was always in trouble getting suspended that would turn out him being flogged by his dad when he got home his grandmother hated seeing him with the bruising all over him but she was to weak and sick to do anything his father would never listen to her and back in them days it was not look on badly from other he needed to be set straight and if that was flogging him then that was that as he father would say but maybe just maybe if he just gave him love he would not of turn out as this bad kid they all thought and said he was

everyone just wanted to blame it on his mother oh if she didn't do this if she stayed and put up a fight well no maybe a bit is her fault but most is his father if he just would have listen to time to time they would have maybe insed of pushing his son away when he needed him most

When he was 10 his dad was already remarried she was a nasty thing always shutting everyone that would try and talk about his mother no  dear to even speak about her around her

going into teenage hood can be hard very hard starting high school starting to take an intessed in girls from the age of 15 he decided to give up trying with his father and move he never made it to year 9 so he moved out on a farm where he would have to take care of sheep he would often find his self in the padded sitting in the long grass often thinking of the days his mother would bring him here his uncle love his sister his mother

the grass was long if he tried hard enough when he close his eyes it like he could hear his mother laughter a faded memory of them her chasing him and his older sister her tickling them until the couldn't breath when his sister stopped coming witch was around the time his mother first got sick she would tell him he had to be strong for his sister because one day she wouldn't be here and they would have to relie on each other he never got it until later

in that moment she was getting him ready to lose her with out him even knowing

little did he know soon after that day being in the grass he would be saying good bye to the last person that he felt loved by his grandma
