After boyd died, Izzy woke up to an empty loft. Well, besides cora. Derek had left. And he's been gone for two days now. Izzy was worried, she didn't know if he was coming back or not.
Everyone else besides cora and Peter were worried as well. Stiles came over to the loft to ask about where he's been.
Izzy and Issac haven't really talked since she got back from France, which in a weird way she didn't mind as much as she thought she would. And oddly Isaac didn't either. They didn't know why they didn't mind, and they were both to scared to talk to each other about it.
Cora just explained to them that when Chris and Gerard had been chasing Derek and Peter and they had got one of Ennis betas. Derek and Peter had got away and hid in a root cellar.
"They were there for two days, waiting. Hiding. That's what we're taught to do when the Hunters find us, hide and heal." Cora said
"Okay, so, is two days standard, then, or are we thinking Derek's on, like, some extended getaway?" Stiles asked "Why do you care?" Cora asked
"Why do I care? Let's see... Because, over the last few weeks, Bella has tried to kill herself, my best friend's tried to kill himself, his boss nearly got ritually sacrificed, a girl that I've known since I was three was ritually sacrificed, Boyd was killed by Alphas. Do you want me to keep going? Cause I can, all right? For, like, an hour." Stiles said pacing back and fourth
"You think Derek can do anything about that?" Cora asked, "Well, since he's the one everyone seems to be after, it's more like he should do something about it, yeah." Stiles said, "Well, they also kind of after Izzy a little too." Cora told him, Izzy sighed, "I don't know though. There's something different about Derek now. He wasn't like this when I knew him." Cora asked
