Lies behind us

part 21-tuesday-

Julia

The past month had been amazing. Most weekends and even during the week I had stayed with Vic. Often times I went with her to the band practices and a couple of smaller partys around town.

In school we would meet secretely on breaks in the library or even at the toilets. Nothing too crazy had ever happened but sometimes I wished something would.

Her band still didn't know about us dating, neither did Indy or Marianne. Day by day Vic had turned more talkative and she just seemed overall happier around everyone.

I was getting ready for the party I had agreed to go. Indy's dad had offered to drive us since none of us had licenses.

I had done like Indy had asked me.

Try to dress for the vibe.

So I had asked for Vic's opinion since she was more familiar with the style and she didn't fail me one bit.

I had done my eyeliner with black eyeshadow to make the look a bit messier and put on a few layers of mascara. I lined my lips with brown before putting on lipstick in the darkest shade of red. I finished the look with highlighter.

Now was time for the clothes. As Vic had adviced me I put on a black fishnet long sleeve and on top of that a black v-neck crop top. I used the same red leather pants that Vic had given me for the gig and a black belt with silver hoops to add personality.

As for jewelry I put on silver earrings with skulls on them, then a heart pendant and just a simple pearl necklace. For shoes I went with black ankle height boots.

Lastly I opened the velcro rollers I had put in my hair to create kind of a blow out look and after that I was ready.

To say the least I was on dressed for "the vibe".

"Julia they are here!" I heard mom yell from downstairs.

I took my bag that fit my phone, lipstick and a couple of makeup wipes before I went downstairs. Mom greeted me as I stepped down the last stair.

"You look beautiful, is Vic going to be there?"

I smiled, "It's her band who Indy and Marianne are hoping to meet".

"And you haven't told them?" She asked.

"We decided to keep it as a secret for as long as we can, even her band doesn't know"

I could see the corner of her mouth lift to a small smirk. "Tell me how it goes", she said before shooshing me out of the door.

Outside waited Indy's dads car. As I opened the door behind the passenger driver I was greeted with "You are dressed so well! How did you figure out the style so good? Now we just look like nobody's next to you!" It came from Indy as well as Marianne.

"Thank you, you guys look as amazing as always", I chuckled.

Indy was wearing a black bodycon dress with her hair on a neat messy bun and Marianne wore a emerald green slipdress that complimented her so well, on top of that she had a dark brown leather jacket.

Once we made it to the party we thanked Indy's dad who told us to not get too wasted.

"I will be staying sober but I don't make promises on behalf of these two", Indy said giving us glares through her dark lashes.

Me and Marianne just smiled before we all turned to walk inside. The house was huge just like Jacob's but this time it was much older. A manor if you will.
