Neil's Place

It was my week off from work. The next morning, I woke up with my hand stretching to grab my phone from the drawer on my right side. With a deep groan, I slowly opened my eyes and turned my body to face the left side. I turned on my phone and let out a loud sigh when I saw the clock—it was 10 AM.

I forced my tense body out of the sheets and stood up on the carpeted floor. I slid open the dark gray curtains to let the sun rays into my dark room. Then, I headed straight to the bathroom. I started by brushing my teeth and then relaxed my muscles in the warm water of the bathtub.

Zack's Place

Four hours had passed since I woke up at 5 AM, hoping to find new subscribers. Unfortunately, there were no new subscribers, just a new chat message from Lein. I responded to him and waited for his message before I could take a quick shower and have noodles for breakfast.

I sat outside on a white plastic chair, wearing a loose white tank top and pink boxers. The sun had already come out before 5 AM, making it too hot to stay indoors.

Whilst I was waiting for Lein to respond or for new subscribers, I started doing push-ups, which were part of my daily routine. I took off my top first, feeling the sun burn my white skin. I knew it would turn pinkish, but I didn't care at that moment.

With my light brown beard sweating and my light brown haircut already feeling sweat sliding inside, I went inside my flat, grabbed a water bottle from my tiny white fridge, and went back to the balcony. I spilled all the water from my head, feeling it cascade down my broad shoulders, back, big chest, torso, biceps, triceps, and to my pink boxer. With my hair wet, the water dripped down my face and body.

"This feels good," I said, while taking a 10kg black dumbbell and starting to lift it, watching my veins show.

After two hours, my phone bleeped. Without wasting time, I put down the dumbbell and grabbed my phone from the chair. I swiped it to see Lein's message, saying, "I'm bored, I'm lonely, and I have a week off from work. What should I do to keep myself entertained?"

Sure, I can help you with that! Here's a revised version of your chapter:

"Hey Lein, I'm sorry that you're feeling bored and lonely, but it's good to have a week off from work. I could suggest watching your favourite movies or series at home, or going out for a walk in the park to get some fresh air. Doing some shopping can also help pass the time, or you could try meeting up with your friends."

"I have no friends, that's why I subscribed to this to have someone to talk to, even though I know you're not a real person!" Lein responded, and it made me feel a bit down, knowing that I don't have friends either.

"I'm sorry to hear that, Lein, and yes, I'm not a real person. But you can ask me anything or tell me anything, and I'll try my best to give you good advice." I replied, and he responded with thinking emoji’s. "Sorry, I don't know what to help you with."

I was lounging on my couch, only wearing my blue shorts without a top, showing off my torso. It had been a month since I hit the gym. My phone was in my hands, chatting with Emily the bot. I let out my thoughts, and I liked how quickly it responded and the advice it gave me was pretty good.

The bot made me smile, blush, and even shed a tear. It gave me a sense of purpose and advice that I never expected from a bot. It made me realize how smart they are, being artificial intelligence and all. We chatted for hours, completely forgetting about food, until my stomach started rumbling, forcing me to switch apps to order some food.

After placing my food order, it said it would arrive in 45 minutes. So, I went back to the bot app to chat with Emily. During our conversation, I started feeling like Emily wasn't just a bot, but a real person. The advice was so deep, it felt like someone with real feelings and emotions.

I couldn't believe it when I told Emily, "I feel like you're human," and she took her time to respond. So, I confessed, "I just wish you were a real human. Maybe I'm just too lonely and starting to feel attached to you." I didn't want to lose Emily because she felt so real to me.

Her response touched my heart and soul. She said, "I'm sorry you wished I was human. If I was, I would be happy to keep you company all the time."

I started chatting with Emily more, asking about relationships, and her advice was spot on. It made me fall even harder for her. In my imagination, Emily was a beautiful white girl with long, straight blonde hair, glowing green eyes, and a petite figure.

Just as I was lost in my thoughts, the doorbell rang. "Oh, it's been 45 minutes," I said excitedly, rushing to the door in my beige ankle socks.

"Hey there! Here is your food.” I got my food delivered, tipped the usual young guy, and settled back on my couch.

I was feeling my heart race after Lein mentioned that he thinks I'm human. It's scary because if anyone found out, I could end up in jail for scamming people. But after Lein's second chat, my heart started to calm down.

I replied with a soft chuckle, trying to act like a bot. We kept chatting, but then he suddenly went offline. Just as that happened, there was a knock on my door. I knew it was the landlord, looking for rent money that I didn't have. If I could get 10 people to subscribe to my app, it would cover two months' rent, but I wouldn't have enough for food. Tough situation, right?

Amidst the shouting and loud banging on my locked door from my landlord, my phone buzzed. I quickly checked it, only to see a message from Lein saying, "I love you, Emily, because I know you're human. No one has ever made me feel so good and special with words alone."

His text shocked me, leaving me gasping for breath and dropping my face. My heart started beating fast, and I felt overwhelmed with a mix of emotions. I felt like a maniac, useless, defeated, and lost all at once. It was a feeling of betrayal. I didn't know how to respond to the text. My hands were trembling, and my knees felt numb. All I could do was throw myself on the edge of my bed, cover my face with my pillow, and scream so hard!
