Author's note: This is a sad monologue of a widower who is mourning his wife.

For the longest time, I have been waiting. Waiting for the  moment. The moment when

I finally find you.

When I see your  dark blond curls tossed by a gentle breeze.

When I see your piercing hazel eyes staring into mine.

My darling, when I hold you tightly in my arms again.

I miss you.

Why did you leave me?

All I ever did was love you.

I took care of you,  shared your burdens.

I wiped away your tears.

I kept you safe.

You said I  made you happy.

Were you lying?

Was it all a game to you?

Was I just.........

Then you left.

My heart was empty, I thought I would die without you.

I ached for you.

I needed you with me again.

You were the only one who ever made me feel whole.

I'm lost without you, my little lamb.

I know you need me too.

You still love me.

My heart beats for you.

Still, after all this time, I'm waiting for you to come home.

Please come back.....

If you won't come back,  I'll go to you.

I'll find you,  I'll leave this place and go to you. I can't bare to be without you anymore. I need to be with you. It's tearing me apart not seeing you, not holding you,  not feeling your lips pressing gently against mine. I....... I cry for you every night........can you hear me, my sweet?

So,  I've finally decided to go to you, to leave this place forever, to be reunited with you,  my soulmate.

I am ready, my note has been written.

I hope they'll forgive me someday.

This is it, I'm going to do it now.

The knife in my hand is sharp, glinting. This is my ending here, but it's also my new beginning with you.

I love you.
