Tessa

After we've finished hugging, Hazel glares at Penny before looking at me with a big smile on her face.

She opens her mouth to say something, but instead her eyes snap to something behind her.

"Hey, what are you-" She yells. I turn around to see Killian and Tyler, scanning the scene. "This is the girls bathroom!"

Tyler rushes up to me. "Are you okay? What happened? You're bleeding!"

I laugh when Killian joins in on the fanatics. "What happened?"

"Uh, well..." I say, looking down. How do I explain this? If I say it's because Penny's obsessed with Killian, he'll just blame himself. "They were hurting Hazel, so I, uh..."

"It's true. Penny's a psycho," Hazel puffs, hands on hips. I nod.

I grab Tyler's hands and pull them away from my face. "I'm okay, I promise. Please don't worry."

I give him a knowing look and he sighs, stepping back.

Just then, the teacher rushes in, panting and frantic.

"What's going on here?" She yells, bending down to help Penny. "Are you okay, Penny?"

She finally notices me and the blood on my face. She sighs and pinches her nose, standing up.

"Miss, it's not her fault. Penny attacked her first, she was literally just defending herself," Hazel explains, defending me.

"Just go to my office. Both of you." She looks down at Penny. "You too, Penny. Hurry up. And boys, why on earth are you in the girls bathroom?"

They look at her awkwardly and miss just sighs, walking out without another word, Penny right behind her.

Tyler and Killian make sure I'm alright once more before following them.

I face Hazel and suddenly we're laughing, holding our stomachs and eachother for support.

I splash my face with water and wash my mouth out. The taste of blood doesn't disappear, but at least I look decent now.

There's a bruise forming on my left cheek and my hairs a mess, but otherwise I look normal.

Together, me and Hazel walk through the oval and take our time getting to miss Fletcher's office.

I'm a little nervous. I've never been in trouble with a teacher before. Well, unless you count Viper, but he's a different story.

"Girls, sit down, please," miss Fletcher says, so we find our seats, as far away from Penny as possible. "Tessa, what happened?"

"Miss Fletcher! She's just gonna lie! I swear I didn't do anything-" Penny tries, but one look from miss and she goes quiet.

"I wasn't asking you, Penny." She turns back to me and nods.

"Well..." I mumble, and then tell her everything starting from what happened during lunch.

"Okay, that enough. Thank you, Tessa." Miss Fletcher turns to Hazel. "Hazel, can you please go get Marie and Grace. They should be right outside."

Hazel nods and does as she says, and in the next second, all three of them are walking in.

They fill up the other two chairs. "You two can leave. Don't go far, though. Your parents will be here soon." Miss Fletcher points to Penny and I, so we get up and slump out.

I can't believe she called dad. This is just embarrassing. It's barely my second week here and I'm already causing trouble.

I'm such an idiot. But I really don't know what else I was supposed to do. They were hurting Hazel, and it's not like I was just gonna let Penny hit me over and over.
