Waving over the bartender, I ended up receiving two more shots after he hesitated, looking to my company for reassurance. Apparently I was already pretty drunk, but Soobin reassured the bartender that I could go a little longer.

His wallet is going to be so empty after this.

Tipping back the contents of the shot glass into my mouth, the substance burning like liquid fire on its way down my throat, I slammed the tiny glass back on the counter as tears streamed down my face more painfully than the burning of the alcohol, my heart in so much pain.

Yeonjun : : "Two years meant nothing to him. Nothing! To think that I loved that bastard...he took my heart and broke it into a million pieces."

Turning to look at Soobin with tears cascading down my alcohol-tinted red face, I hiccuped pathetically as I attempted to speak, my words whiny as a side effect of the alcohol.

Yeonjun : : "Do you think I'll ever find someone?"

His hand, which was previously resting on my back, moved to my shoulder. He gave it a reassuring squeeze that made my heart do some drunken thing, his eyes filled with sincerity and locked on my cloudy ones.

Soobin : : "Of course you will, Yeonjun, Not everyone's like him."

Funny. I assumed that that was the case.

After all, that's what I first assumed of Soobin- a liar, an arrogant asshole, a cheater, someone who would hurt me and take advantage of me.

But it's very clear, even in my drunken state, that that's not true.

His hand left my shoulder, long and nimble fingers moving to wrap around the first and only bottle of beer he had had this entire time. Taking a short sip, the bottom of the bottle connected with the wooden counter as he spared a glance over at my crying figure.

Soobin : : "You know, I also went through something like that, I had a boyfriend who cheated on me, last year. After a year or so of being together."

Yeonjun : : "Y-You did?"

Hiccuping in the middle of my question, but feeling slightly shocked to hear that Soobin had been through a similar situation, I watched as he swirled the half-empty contents of his bottle around lazily as he turned back to look at me, a sad smile on his face.

With a nod, he took another small sip of his beer before elaborating.

Soobin : : "Yeah. A year ago, I caught him cheating on me, with a girl, in our shared apartment, I was furious, and upset. So I broke up with him, packed up everything and left, blocking him number and moving away and...yeah, it sucked. It was painful, and I felt so crappy."

Pausing in his words, Soobin shot a smile at me, one that looked oddly...happy.

Soobin : : "But I got over him. If he's going to treat me like that, he's not worth my time and someday, I'll find someone better. He just wasn't the one, and that's okay. I'll find someone better."

The blue haired male ran a hand through his soft-looking locks, before pushing his beer bottle away from him and turning fully to face me, the stool he was sitting on swiveling a full ninety degrees. Placing his chin in his palm like he had done in the subway station, he reached his other hand out and lightly punched my shoulder, his lips still curled up in a smile.

Soobin : : "And you will too, Feisty. He wasn't the one, but there's always other fish in the sea."

Pouting, I stuck my lips out in a way that would resemble a duck's beak, kicking my feet back and forth like a child would.
