Chapter 2: I remember you

Felix was waiting for the email reply of whether he could start at the company. He was sitting in the waiting lounge with other employees and interns in the company waiting room. He wanted to wait for the reply email but he just wanted to tell Han, his roommate, about everything.

"JISUNGGG!" Felix excitedly said on the call. "Did you make it?! Did you get accepted?!" Han anxiously asked the blonde. "Still waiting for the reply email but I just passed the final test! I really hope that I get accepted into the company," said Felix with a mixture of hope and excitement.

BEEP BEEP

'We thank you for showing interest in Shinyan Investment Banking Company. We hope that you will find a better job interest other than this. On account of your interests, we have found you three other companies that we think may be suitable to your liking and capabilities. Best of luck for your future...'

Felix couldn't believe his eyes, he had been rejected by the company's CEO. He stormed out of the building, trying to catch a taxi home. He was stopped by a hand that reached out holding a band-aid. 

"For you. As given by the CEO Hwang Hyunjin himself," Seungmin said firmly, beaming a cute smile at the blonde male. But Felix was completely lost in the name Hwang Hyunjin, CEO.           "...I'm sorry, Hwang Hyunjin?!" he exclaimed which scared Seungmin.

Felix and Hyunjin were friends when they were in middle school. Felix's father trusted young Hyunjin to take special care of Felix because he was a careless silly boy. Hyunjin used to get paid for it, too from Felix's father. Hyunjin saved no energy to bully Felix, but apart from Hyunjin being a bully, Felix has always loved the older boy, he was a year older than the blonde. Hyunjin was at times, also very sweet to the younger boy and treated him nicely, but he'd bully him in school. 

When Felix was in 10th grade, his father passed away and he was convinced that it was a sudden heart attack. Felix's father owned a food company that mainly sold rice noodles since he used a family recipe and the investment dealing company was Shinyan Investment Company. Hyunjin still continued to bully him but the younger boy transferred schools and the older wrote a letter to the younger saying that he was travelling abroad at the same time. But the letter contained a love confession too, that he'd never got. So after that, they never met until today.

"Do you have that idiot— I mean... Hwang Hyunjin's contact by any chance?" Felix pressed as he pursed his lips tightly. Seungmin nodded took his phone from his pocket and handed it over to Felix. Felix sent a voice message screaming,

"HWANG HYUNJIN-AH, I WILL NOT LOSE TO YOU. I WILL GET INTO SHINYAN INVESTMENT BANKING COMPANY!" he angrily pressed the send button and stuck the band-aid on the corner of Kim Seungmin's phone.

'HWANG HYUNJIN-AH, I WILL NOT LOSE TO YOU. I WILL GET INTO SHINYAN INVESTMENT BANKING COMPANY!' Hyunjin played the voice audio and chuckled as he returned the phone to Seungmin and looked through the glass wall, looking at the view below.                                           "You heard him, boss. He said that he will not lose to you" Seungmin said firmly as he put a high emphasis on the last four words.

"Haha, and what will he do to get into the company?" Hyunjin laughed, brushing his fingers through his hair. "But why won't you let him in, sir? He is most capable and has a knack for charming people," said Seungmin looking around Hyunjin's office. "What is in him that you find charming, Seungmin? Sure, he is capable... of the other three companies that we have suggested for him in the email," The brunette male smiles as he turns his face towards Seungmin.
