Alex steps out of the considerable coach, Harriet following her closely behind. She must say by the looks of the building outside, she knew it was going to look great inside. The class turns to the residential leader and listen to what she had to say.
"So, as I said before some of you have luxury rooms and some have normal dorms. Now, if the luxury assigned students follow Mrs. Lanwood. That would be great, the rest follow me." Our residential leader says, before they split into their dorm groups. Alex follows Mrs. Lanwood as she takes a left to a huge building. It practically looked like the Disney Hotel Alex had stayed at, in Disney Land Paris. Alex smirks and looks at Harriet, she could tell she's never been to a 5 star hotel before.
"This looks amazing" Harriet shrieks as she jumps around. She squeezes Alex's arm and laughs in enlightenment. Alex crosses her arms annoyed.
"Please, stop touching me. Ive already had enough of that." Alex states, rolling her eyes. It was clear to her that life would never be the same. After one secret the whole world turned upside down. She became unpopular, was classified as a nerd. Oh, of course. She betrayed her one and only best friend.
Alex was snapped out of her thoughts when the class had entered the building.
"No way-" Harriet exclaims as she looks around. Alex smiles and looks at her.
"Yes way." This was a dream, to live in a building full of luxury on your own. Well not on your own, but you know. It was so damn cool. Mrs. Lanwood leads them to their assigned rooms as Alex watches Harriet mumble words under her breath.
"You ok?" Alex asks. Alex may be the stubborn, most annoying bitch ever but one thing that people loved her for was her kindness towards others. She sure didn't do great when it came to bullying but she tried to stop it and she has come to the conclusion of saving 3 lives.
"I'm fine thanks, just sleepy. My usual habit, sorry." Harriet replies. Harriet was different, sure was a mood swinger. But one particular feature gave her whole past away and that was the scar across her eyebrow. Still made her look like a bad girl, even though she wasn't.
"Right Harriet and Alex. You are in the room above with a couple of other students. Take the elevator and no shouting, have a great night or evening. Goodbye now. If you need any help just ring the button. Remember school starts in a day at 7:30. Be ready!" Mrs. Lanwood yells as she leaves the building. Alex claps her hands together and sighs.
"So, where were we? Oh yes, our new dorm." Alex says as she drags her suitcase through the elevator door. It felt like for ever looking for a certain room, but there it was in the corner. Plant pots on each side of the door, nice design. They enter and look around the room astonished. It was beautiful, elating even. It's modern features bringing a whole new story to life. Like a jungle. It was called true beauty.
"We are living here for our whole lives? Well 3 years!" Harriet asks, face palming herself. Alex runs to the rooms and picks the big one, of course.
"So what do you want to do?" Harriet asks, an hour later. They had already had dinner and were finally getting ready for school.
"Well, we have finished packing our school bags. We've finished unpacking our suitcases and we have had dinner. Maybe explore the place a little more. Go outside, or to the city secretly. Like undercover agents." Alex says excitedly. Harriet nods and walks over to the peg holding her jacket. They wear their coats and run out of the room, locking the door behind. Something was different this time, she felt free. No one was there to tell her off for being out late or for running in shorts and a flannel. This was life to her, this was what she loved and she hoped it would last for ever.
