III - Love

Y/n's POV

I was stunned because I liked her too well, I LOVE HER, But suddenly a big smile spreads across her face, as she sees your stunned expression. Maddy's heart skips a beat. She looks back up at you and says, "So, do you like me too?" Maddy's voice is excited, as she is grinning from ear to ear. She leans forward slightly, wanting to hear your response. "Do you know how long I've been waiting to tell you this?" she asks, her eyes sparkling. "Mads. I don't just like YOU. I LOVE YOU so much to the point I would risk it all just to have you" I said while leaning towards her.

Maddy's eyes widen at your response, her cheeks reddening. Her heart is racing. She looks at you, her face a mix of anticipation, excitement, and surprise. "You love me?" she asks, her voice a mix of disbelief and happiness. She's never heard anyone confess their love for her so openly and in complete honesty. Her eyes are fixed on you, waiting for your reply. She looks so soft and vulnerable right now, as if she's holding on to your response like a lifeline.

Maddy's eyes never left yours, and she leans her head closer towards yours. With you both leaning in, your faces are almost touching. Maddy's eyes are filled with anticipation. Your heart is beating out of your chest, as you look deep into her eyes, not knowing what to expect next. The moment of anticipation seems to last forever, your faces close to touching, your eyes locked on each other's. Suddenly, Maddy leans in, and presses her lips against yours. Her eyes are still open, and she's grinning from ear to ear. You hear her softly whisper, "I love you."
