Chapter 1

In the quiet town nestled in the hills, far from the hustle and bustle, there exists a small community of no more than 600 residents. Among them is a teenage boy named Kell; resides and studies.

Despite its nickname, the "dead town," it's not a town of literal dead people but a peaceful place with a breathable atmosphere and mesmerizing scenery. It's a great place to visit during holidays, if you want a peaceful one, because of the quiet and positive energy it exudes.

Though the town is set remote location, businesses have not failed there. There are a few convenience stores from the distance, fast-food restaurants, thrift shops, and even small arcades packed with old and classics. However, these establishments aren't big enough to disrupt the peace of the town.

Residents spend mostly their daily lives on leisure activities, unlike in cities that work tirelessly to make ends meet; Living far from the mainland and high income taxes

Kell, despite being surrounded by what others consider blessings; yearned for more than this life.

Yeah, he enjoys fishing in the river and foraging for some edible foods in the woods, didn't want to live his life like this forever, he decided that he wanted a taste of life in the life in the crowded polluted city where people in his town detest and avoid, but for kell it's a place where everything you wish for is in the grasp of your hands as long as you work enough to get, where city dwellers tend to exchange their life to kell if they had a choice.

But as an average teenage boy who is still ignorant of the world, still seeking a life experience, believe in the thinking that "Everyone has their place" and that maybe he belongs to the place he wants in the city,

But kell who still studied high school in the nearby public school and is dependent on his parent daily allowance, dreamed of making extra cash for himself.

However, in their small town with limited job offers,he lacked the means to do so... he did try to apply for different side jobs, But given their town is not busy and he's quite young, he failed to get the job.

until his overall delusion and sudden desperation, a certain idea crossed his mind - catfishing.

Kelly is quite ambitious for his age, and desperate to get the things he wants sooner

Kell's family lived a comfortable life, which is not enough for him, it is all thanks to their mother's job as a local teacher. After excelling in his class, Kell requested his own computer, which he used for his own purposes.

After the time social media just exploded, it was during that time when everyone is still active

Kell saw it as an opportunity to exploit the anonymity it provided.

He attempted many tries to make a name for himself, most of it was a failure until sometime a light bulb light on his head and succeed.

Setting up a fake profile, creating an alter ego under the username "Veronica." With a carefully crafted backstory, random selection of photoshop photos, as well as an interesting skills, transformed himself into the charismatic veronica.

Kell visualized veronica to be a very charismatic girl with a godly personality, known for posting quotes photos from books she reads and reviews, she also known to show compassion to helping people through chats and groups.

Kell's alter ego is a completely different from the version of himself, with well crafted nicer version or to be specific a persona that has nothing to be compare to his real identity.

Because of how easy for him to manipulate the social media, he eventually works his way to his plans.

The more followers he could amass, and subsequently, the more money he could potentially earn because of his influences.

The way of his ways is engaging with online communities, striking up conversations and building virtual relationships. As vero"nica", kell strategically connected with vulnerable individuals seeking companionship or appreciation. He targeted people who seemed lonely or in need of support, him offering advice, lending a sympathetic ear, making slowly becoming an integral part of their lives. But all that would eventually last.

He noticed that by the time he reaches the charisma peck level he also stops getting more popular through his online alias "Veronica".

He noticed that people now are more hooked to online games rather than books and ebooks or any type of writing, these factors affect the existence of kell's persona Veronica and that was then soon after, it didn't get the time to say goodbye to his old persona, veronica was not the only alias kell used to fished people online; and open a new portal to a new name to his new persona.

He also turned then, into the famous "Acer" of the gaming community, known for his awesome game plays and live game streams.

Kell visualize "Acer" as a digital warrior, a master of online gaming. He revels in the thrill of virtual battles, his strategic mind always two steps ahead of his opponents. He's respected and admired in the gaming community, known for his unique approach to challenges and his unwavering commitment to his team.

Once kell turn into character, he becomes a truly different person, different from himself, thanks to his devotion and ambitious mind.

It was then his life turned easy,
With this new persona, even thinking of revealing himself to the gaming community to the public specially to his fans as the real "Kell Guns" himself. However, one single thought stops him in his tracks.

The thought that single thought shatters his dreams to be known to the public as the real him.

It all started years back when things became complicated and emotionally challenging for him, when he first met this stranger online that became an extreme annoyance to him and even gave him fear of revealing himself.

He met them before in one of his schemes as he considered now as a dead persona, in an online gaming app before his in game name was even "Acer".

A/N: Sorry about the first chapter published folks I know it doesn't make sense, confusing and unexcited to read,it was the time when I just thought of just the title and not really thought of the whole plot.. sorry...:( But hey, I got this and I do know where this story is going (I think)
and Roommate and Stalker is sounds like a great idea right?😅
