I felt relieved at the bunny-boy's response. However, I couldn't help but notice the shift in his mood after our little exchange. That's true, we all have our own paths and things we're passionate about, I was taken aback when he started to carry on with our conversation. So, what's your main focus then? Basketball, I assume?.
He could probably see me beaming as the topic was shifted to the sport that I loved. I got more eager to talk. ❛ I've been playing since I was a kid. It's a dream I'm working towards. I'm actually trying to get a scholarship on it! ❜ I don't mean to be a show off however I could feel that he was impressed by my dedication.

There was a sense of connection between us. We continued chatting, sharing stories about our respective journeys and finding common ground in our determination to excel in our chosen fields. It turned out that despite our different interests, we had a lot in common, It was a unique and unexpected connection that had formed between a guitarist and a basketball player, and it felt great to know that we could support and encourage each other, even if our interests were distinct.

We've gotten a little closer since then, once indifferent encounters turned into daily greets, some 'Hi's and Hello's', even having some time to sit around and chat during vacant. We still live in different worlds, but somehow, it feels as if we can co exist in one where both worlds collide.
