The sound of the alarm filled the room. "I swear to god if today's Sunday-" I mumbled as i checked today's date on my phone.

4:34 AM
February 26, Sunday, 2023
"Dang it!" I sighed and got up. I went to the bathroom, and got refreshed. I wore casual clothes and went to work, by driving my car.

At work
I  went to my table and started snoozing, as I  had no cases and there wasn't anybody else there except Sohyeon. After a few hours, I  felt someone smack my head. "OUCH" i screamed as I woke up, unfortunately. It was sohyeon who smacked my head. "Wake up, sleephead" sohyeon said as she sat on her table, which was next to me. Oh right, who was sohyeon? Sohyeon is my partner. We've worked on alot of cases together. "What is it?" I told her as i fixed my hair. She said, "C'mon aren't ya gonna have lunch?". "Lunch?" i looked at her, in shock. "Yeah, lunch." "WHAT LUNCH???" I stood up. Sohyeon said, "Dumbass, it's 2 pm already. Didnt you sleep yesterday?". "No, not really.." I told her as i went outside to eat food.

Wonhae POV:
"The cause of the victim's death is drug overdose. I suppose later the culprit created the fire to destroy evidence. But fortunately you guys were near, so there are still some evidence left. Best of luck" I told the Detectives and cops, after i finished an autopsy. I then went to my office, and began observing my other autopsies done today, as i had nothing else to do. I then heard a knock on my door.

KNOCK KNOCK

"yes, come in!" I said, looking at the door to see who came.

It was my assistant Dokyeom. "Sir, your break time has started now." He said with a smile on his face, as usual. I smiled back at him, saying "Thanks, you can take some rest now." He then greeted me and left my office. After some time, i heard my stomach growl. Probably because i haven't eaten breakfast today. I checked the time on my clock

2:01 pm

"I suppose i'll eat outside today" i mumbled to myself as i left the building. I went to a nearby convenience store, since that's where i mostly went. I bought ramen, along with a drink.

"How much is the total cost?" I asked the cashier. "Your total will be 15,900 ₩, sir" The cashier responded. I paid the money and looked for somewhere to sit. I saw a beautiful girl, eating by herself, so I thought i'd sit there, as the store had surprisingly alot of people. "Hello miss, could I sit here?" I asked the woman politely. "Of course" She moved her food to her side and gave me space to put my food down.

Jihee POV:

I was really hungry. "Food..food..food.." I mumbled as I looked for nearby stores or anything. After some searching, I found a convenience store and bought food. I paid and then started eating, obviously. After a while, a man approached me. The man said, "Hello miss, could I sit here?". "Of course" I  replied, giving the man some space to put his food down. As someone was eating with me, i ate more nicely and not like an animal, how i usually eat. I glanced at the man to get a good look at him. "Damn, he's hot.." I thought as my eyes were locked on his face for a few moments. After seeing his face, I  got way more nervous and lost my appetite for eating, and stopped eating without noticing. The man looked at me and chuckled. "Ahjumma aren't you going to eat?". I gasped and said,"Ahjumma?! Do I  really look that old?". He laughed at me and said "sorry" while smiling. I noticed his outfit, which was a shirt,white coat and tie, indicating  that he was a doctor. "Are you a doctor?" I asked him while finishing my food. He nodded and said "How did you know?" while smiling, his tone indicated he was making fun of me. "Your outfit says it" I said as I rolled my eyes. He chuckled, finishing his food as well.

3pm
I came back to the office, and gossiped with some of my colleagues. "Jihee, Mr.kim is calling for you" Sohyeon said to me as she approached my desk. "Okay" I told her, and left for Mr.kim's office.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

I knocked on Mr.kim's door. "Come in" the man said. Opening the door, I saw that same middle-aged man, gray hair, wearing glasses and an ugly ass with no wife, Mr.Kim. He was the head of our department. "Sir, did you call for me?" I asked him, politely. He nodded, as he took a puff from his cigarette."I'm going to transfer you to another police station". "Huh, that's new." I thought to myself. "Uhm, why me?" I asked him. "Because i want to, do you have a problem?" he glared at me. That guy always gets on my nerves. I sighed and said "okay, so...When am i leaving?". "Tomorrow" he took another puff of cigarette. "Ermm...So soon?" i asked him. He ignored me. "You're dismissed". After he said that, there was no way i could stay there anymore. I took a breath in, and left.

-After work-

I returned home. I took off my boots and went to my room. I then took a shower. " OUCH THE WATER'S HOT" I said as I changed the water temperature. "Dammit, my day's only getting worse, Fuck today..." I mumbled as i continued showering. After showering, i made myself dinner and binged a show on Netflix. It was 2am by the time i finished. "I should probably sleep" I thought to myself before putting my plate in the sink. I stared at it. "Meh, i'll clean it tomorrow" I shrugged. I turned the lights off, and walked like a real  strong woman. Or so I thought. I heard a footstep upstairs, and boom i ran to my room. Gosh, I really need to stop being a baby. I quickly went to bed, rolling into a circle in my blanket.
"I wonder how tomorrow will be" I thought to myself, as my eyes slowly drifted till i went to sleep.
