2: the royal life

Isabella's view.
Princess it's time to wake up, I hear my butler say.
5 more minutes please.
I'm sorry princess but you need to get up, your family is waiting.
Ok, I sit up in my bed.
So princess do you want to find clothes yourself or should I?
Can you please do it harry.
(harry is the name of my butler)
Of course princess.
5 minutes later harry comes back with some jeans and a blue tank top.
Thank you harry, you can go now.
With that harry leaves the room.
I change and make my way down to the dining room.
When I walk through the doors my father, mother and 3 younger siblings are sat waiting on me.
I sit down in between my mother and father.
So why are up so early? I ask my father.
Well isa we are all going to Silverstone.
Why? I ask
Because it's the Silverstone gp this weekend and we got invited by Mercedes.
Omg that's so cool.
Wait so we have paddock passes?
Yes and we will be staying in Mercedes garage.
Omg thank you, I say and hug my parents.
Wait are we also coming, Charlotte asks
Yes the six of us are going.
Omg thank you, Charlotte, Louis and George says.
So when are we going, I ask.
In about an hour. And we are staying the hole weekend. (it's Friday btw)
Ok that's great.
After we ate I went to my room and put on my Mercedes t-shirt and cap.
(I'm a big Mercedes fan)
We flew out to Coventry airport and drove the rest of the way.
When we arrived we got our passes and walked into the paddock.
The first thing I saw was paparazzi, they were everywhere and were following us because we are royals.
I was just walking when I bumped into someone.
Omg I'm so sorry, I heard someone say.
I looked up and it was lando Norris.
Omg are you princess Isabella, he asked.
The one and only, I said which made him laugh.
So what brings you here princess? He asks.
Well Mercedes invited my family so we came, I said and smiled.
You should come over to McLaren at some point, he Said.
I Will ask my dad if i can.

I walk over to my dad and we all walk into Mercedes garage.
William, toto says and hugs my dad.

So this is your family, toto says.
Yes this is my wife Kate, my dad says and points at mom.
This is my eldest daughter Isabella, he says and points at me.
This is my eldest son George, he says and points at George.
This is my youngest daughter Charlotte, he says and points at Charlotte.

Well welcome to the Mercedes garage let me show you around, toto says and we follow him.
So this is my 1st driver Lewis Hamilton.
And this Lewis is the royal family of England.

Oh yeah I forgot.
Behind Lewis came another driver.
And this is George russel.
And you probably already know who this is, toto says to George.

Bingo, I say laughing.
Toto showed us the rest of the garage.
After the show around I went over to my dad.
So dad I got invited by lando Norris to come over to the McLaren garage for a show around.
Can I go?
Of course but stay safe.
Yeah yeah I know dad.
And with that I walked over to mclarens garage.
I walked in and saw lando, i guess he saw me too cause he walked over to me right after I walked in.
You came, lando said and shaked my hand.
Yeah of course.
Now I would lie to show you around, he says with a big smile.
Sure.
We walk around then lando walks over to a boy, and I of course follow him.
Hi mate, he says.
Hey, and who is this he ask and point at me.
I step up next to lando.
Omg aren't you princess Isabella, he asks
Yeah that's me, I say with a smile.
Omg hello I'm max, max fewtrell, he says and bows.
Hello max and you don't have to bow, I say laughing.
Oh sorry it's the first time I meet a royal.
It's honestly fine I'm used to it.
But what brings you here, max asks.
Well Mercedes invited me, my parents and my siblings.
Oh that makes sense.
After an hour in the McLaren garage I walk back to Mercedes.
Fp1 is starting soon and I want to see it from Mercedes view.
Friday goes by quick and before I know it were on our way too a house we have nearby.

Saturday.
Saturday we arrive at the track and walk straight to Mercedes garage.
ISABELLA, Lewis screams as we walk in.
LEWIS, I scream back as we walk over to hug each other.
Are you ready, I ask Lewis.
More than ever.
It had been tough for Lewis he hadn't won since Abu Dhabi 2021 where he lost the championship to max verstappen.
I just know you will do good today, I say with a big smile.
Me and Lewis sit and talk for a bit.
I talk about the royal life and he talks about his career.
After some time Lewis PR manager come to get Lewis ready.
I walk upstairs onto the balcony so I can see everything.
A few minutes later and my family has joined me on the balcony.
Q1 has begun and it's looking good for Mercedes.
Q1 is done and Lewis came p3 and George came p7.
Time for q2.
Q2 doesn't look as good, Lewis is still doing great but George is having some issues.
Q2 is done and Lewis came p1 and George came p14, that means George is out.
Q3 is looking amazing Lewis has just made an amazing time.
Q3 done and Lewis came p1 so he has pole for tomorrow.
As I'm walking towards the paddock exit I hear someone shouting my name.
ISABELLA WAIT UP.
I turn around and it's lando.
Oh hey lando haven't seen you around today, I say.
Yeah stressful day.
Oh and congrats with p4, I say with a smile.
Even though I'm a Mercedes fan I still support all the English drivers.
Thanks anyways I was thinking if I could get your number, lando says almost shy.
Yeah of course, I say as I hand him my phone.
He puts his number in and we say our goodbyes.
Later that evening he calls me
L: hey this is Isabella right
I: the one and only, I say laughing.
We sit and talk for a bit before I need to go to sleep.

Sunday.
I walk into the paddock excited for the race.
I walk over to the McLaren garage to say hi to lando.
LANDO NORRISSSSSSS, I scream like ricciardo does sometimes.
PRINCESS ISABELLAAAAAA, he screams back.
We sit down and talks before he needs to get ready.
We go our separate ways and I make my way to Mercedes to wish them good luck.
The race starts and Lewis holds his place.
Lap 26: lando overtakes sainz and is now p3
Lap 48: 5 laps left
Lap 53: AND LEWIS HAMILTON HAS DONE IT HE HAS JUST WON SILVERSTONE.

I run down to his car and gives him a big hug.
YOU DID IT LEWIS, YOU DID IT, I scream.
OMG I ACTUALLY DID IT.
About 20 min later the podium is about to start.
And in p3 we have...
CARLOS SAINZZZZZ.
and in p2 we have...
LANDO NORRISSSS.
and last but not least p1...
LEWIS HAMILTON FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OVER A YEAR.
the English national anthem gets played and they get their trophies.
After that the champagne spraying started and I ran away so I wouldn't get soaked...
