This was Connor's first experience in Japan. which he doesn't seem to be very skilled at Connor is an American favorite of Japan from anime, food and places he's seen on TV. until he received the prize from the company's raffle. That's why he took a plane to come here.
"Could you tell me where this shrine is?" Connor asked the two women passing by. and received the answer that it was not far Connor walked along the track with a bus ride. He finally found the shrine he was looking for. He had seen this shrine on TV and it was said that praying at this shrine would make his wish come true.
Connor walked in and took pictures of various places. It was much more beautiful than he thought. until he goes to the point where people pray He sat down, clasped his hands and prayed inwardly.
"I hope I'm compatible here."
Connor got up and put his dollar bills in the donation box. And walking away, ignoring that the dollar bill that was about to fall into the donation box transforms into a yen of equal value before falling into the bottom of the box with the coins and yen bills.
Connor walked for a while and found a hat lying on the ground. As he looked around, he saw a group of kindergarten children on a field trip wearing the same hats he was carrying.
"Hey, I think one of you lost a hat," Connor said, walking towards the group of kindergarteners. As he walked, his beard shrank and disappeared as his age gradually declined.
"What happened, why did I shrink?" said Connor, who quickly switched to middle school and moved into elementary school. As his face grew distant from American change to more Asian children Including his hair color turned black.
Then his clothes shrunk to fit and began to change. His plaid shirt buttoned together neatly and switched to white with the pin of the kindergarten badge he had to attend every day. His jeans had shrunk the legs and the fabric was thinner for the kindergartener to wear comfortably and changed the color to dark blue. His socks changed from gray to blue with a cute bear pattern. and his sneakers turned yellow. And finally, the camera that he took all the pictures in was transformed into a portable water bottle.
"真子林くん、どこに行ったの? あなたの友達はあなたが戻ってくるのを待っています、(Where have you been, Makobayashi-kun? Your friends are waiting for you to come back,)" said the kindergarten teacher.
"待って、私の名前は小林ですか?(Wait, my name is Kobayashi?)" Connor said shocked that he could speak Japanese while the English he had spoken since birth disappeared from his head.
"そうだ、こちゃん、幼稚園に戻ろう。(That's right, Ko-chan, let's go back to kindergarten.)" The other boy said while holding his hand. Now, in Connor's or Kobayashi's head today, everything about America had disappeared entirely from his head. Now he has begun his life as a kindergartener again in Japan as he had wished for.
