I came back to life from my deep sleep when minty yet pepperly with a hint of musk smell hit my nostrils this very unfamiliar but yet familiar smell made me realize that I am not in MY HOME, the sound of water indicated that he is Inside the Washroom taking bath but that sound suddenly stopped and after some minutes door creaking sound boomed in the all silent room, the footsteps indicated that he was moving towards dressing table, and drawer opened and closed, his fresh cologne overpowered the room, he stood above my head but I pretended I am asleep he remained in the same place for good minutes his eyes made me feel conscious even though my whole existence was under the duvet except my right hand which was clutching the duvet in order to create a passage to regulate oxygen dosage for me;

He turned his heels and opened door lock and I sighed in relief, I thought he left but his strong voice made me welcome to the reality "Begum, mujhe pata hai aap jaagi hui hai, ek choti si emergency aagayi hai mujhe zyada se zyada ek ghanta lage ga, aap itni dair main taiyyar hojae Nashte ke liye" He said which made me pull the duvet to reveal my face he was in distance but his eyes holding mine and neither he broke the eye contact nor let me do it, His Eyes holding an essence of longing and love, my lips sealed like always in his presence I just nodded to his words. Begum, My stomach did summersault at this word; " Stop it's just a trap" my subconscious reminded me I shaked my head vigorously to erase the memory

I dragged myself out of bed, and moved towards my luggage squatting I reached to the level of it and opened the zip, and was trying to find a dress to wear today, someone knocked in the door I turned around to find Aunty Humaira standing there looking at me she smiled and did salaam and I responded back, I invited her in, leaving my luggage open I stood up she looked at my appearance; one or two lines formed on her forehead before she said " Mujhe pata hai yun iss qadar Nikkah ho jana apna ghar chorh kar kisi ke saath zindagi bhar ka rishta ho jana asaan nahi hai!" I looked up to meet her eyes and than she continued "Shayad maine yeh kabhi kisi bacche ko nahi bataya aaj tak par tumhein toh bata sakti hun?" She questioned to which I just nodded " Tum toh khush qismat hoon ki tum ahad ko jaanti hu par mera Nikkah toh ek drama bann gaya tha" her words took a pause as chuckle replaced it after some seconds she continued " Asal mein Mera Nikkah Suleiman Sahab ke dost se hone wala tha" she said a loud "Kya???" Left my mouth " Ji" she said while laughing at my reaction " Darasal, pehle toh Baraat 1 hafte pehle aajati thi aur jinse mera Nikkah hone wala tha unke bohat qareebi dost thay Suleiman sahab, unke dost ko meri dost Ruhi pasand aagayi phir kya" she laughed remembering the past " Phir aapko bura nahi laga" I questioned what was wandering in my mind " Laga tha uss waqt par ab main shukran e namaaz padhti hun ki uss waqt yeh hua warna phir mujhe Suleiman Sahab kaha se milte" she completed tear glistened in her eyes reflecting her pure love & affection towards her husband and gratefulness of that happening "phir Kya hua??" I questioned a smiled formed in my face
