The group did not know how they would be able to survive the horrible mistake. They could barely except the fact that all their friends and family were dead. They all had those same thoughts during their night at Morgan's hideout. They were running out of food and could barely supply themselves. Laurie still was in shock after she finding out about being pregnant and the toll that would take on her chance to survive. Morgan had built protection because he thought that he and Duane were going to survive long and proudly.

The group had not woken up yet, they were trying to enjoy having more than an hour for once. The group could not stand living out on the road, vulnerable and barely able to survive. It was either they trusted Morgan with their lives or the let themselves die out on the road. They trusted Morgan, which eventually showed to be the right decision. The only thing that Laurie did not think about was, how would she be able to have her baby safely?

Morgan woke up with a very strange and loud noise that he couldn't describe to he got worried.

Morgan said quietly and nervously "Carl, Laurie, Carol... Wake up, I think there is a build up of walkers from overnight."

They woke up and went to look down the boobytrapped stairs. The stairs were almost full of walkers. Automatically, Morgan made sure everyone was safe, and that no walkers had gotten in. Morgan was relieved when he found that everyone was safe.

Morgan went to grab some pistols and rifles to shoot the walkers. It turned out that they were out of ammo. So, one by one Carl and Morgan stabbed the living daylights out of all the walkers with the stock of the rifles. By the time that they were finished another herd was getting close, that had to run for it. Before they left Morgan and Carl grabbed as many weapons as they could and stocked up on soup, crackers, and some chocolate pudding.

When they got out the door it looked like they were cornered in. They almost gave up, until Morgan came to the rescue when he remembered his escape rout from the underground. When they entered the sewers, it smelled like crap, literally. The women could barely bare the smell of the sewer. but that was the only way to survive.

In the middle of the sewers there was a brick wall, the sewers ended. Everyone got really nervous until Morgan laughed, he said, "Look up" in a hilarious manor. As if they weren't about to be killed by zombies, who could be their family.

The latch opened and they climbed up a slimy ladder. When they came through the top, their hands had blood all over them. They all wiped their hands on Carl's poncho, which he stole from a dead walker. Morgan and Carl were always the tough ones. Carl on the other hand was hard-core and coldblooded.

They all looked around, there was no walkers in sight. So they decided to run for as far as they can until they guaranteed to themselves that it was safe. They ran until they couldn't feel their feet, there was still a herd of walkers behind them, and there was nothing they could do about it. They were out of ammo and only had little food, and none to spare.

The group found a place that they thought would be safe for the night. They had a plan to go on a run the next morning to grab all the essentials in the 5 mile radius of what they now call home. The group slept with one eye open that night. They knew what the day ahead had set for them.
