KABOOM!

"WILEY!!!" Nina yelled, "That's the third time this week!"

Nina was a short girl with a short temper, she had flaming red, uncontrollable, curly hair and orangey-red eyes that flickered with power. She stomped across the hall to Wiley's bedroom door, as she stood there glaring at it, feet high flames erupted from her arms and were slowly spreading through her body.

Just then, George walked out of the dimly lit living room, "What now?" He sighed.

He spotted Nina on fire and instinctively flung his arms out. Suddenly, vines started to grow from the ground at Nina's feet, they grew and grew, wrapping around Nina and binding her tightly. The flames disappeared at once and Nina lay struggling on the wooden boarded floor .

George strided over to Wiley's bedroom, opened the door and found the room splattered with bubblegum-pink goo. Wiley was standing there, covered from head to foot in goo, blinking his bright blue eyes and staring around the room. When he came back to his senses, he casually lifted his hand, water gushed out of it like a hose, swirling around the room and washing it of the goo. Wiley lowered his hand and the water subsided, his large bedroom was back to normal and clean and dry.

"Love potion?" Asked George.

Wiley sighed, "It's stupid... I don't know if I'm getting any closer to making one... But, at least the goo is now pink instead of black."

Wiley shuffled across the blue carpet to the big table in the middle of the room, it was covered in gadgets and gizmos. Some were whirring and clinking and other were making a strange humming noise. He started to fiddle with a weird kettle shaped device that seemed to be the source of the goo.

Suddenly, an instrument to the left of him gave a loud CRACK! and Wiley jumped, a jet of water shot of his hand, splashing Nina in the face, (who had just entered the room, fighting off the last few vines), she gasped and burst into flames, running into the kitchen where Anila was perched precariously on a stool, painting her toenails. Nina ran accidentally into Anila, who screamed and fell backwards off her stool onto the tiled floor. She started to spin involuntarily and turned into a tornado, zooming around the kitchen at top speed, knocking over cups and plates as she went. George stood at the door to the kitchen, looking dumbfounded, too shocked to help. Anila flew towards him and knocked him over. Immediately, she stopped spinning, but as George lay sprawled on the floor, plants grew around him and kept him there. Wiley stared around the mess that he caused; there was nail polish splattered on the tiles, cups lay cracked on the bench beside the sink, plates were smashed on the island in the middle of the room and his friends were scattered across the floor.
