Dr. Spencer Reid and Dr. Maeve Donovan were the absolute perfect match made in I.Q. heaven. Everyone who knew the pair swore they'd soon be married with genius babies on the way.
It took Spencer a year after their first date to walk into Greenburg's with a specific ring in mind, only to walk out hours later with one that put a sizable dent in his bank account. The price tag didn't matter to him much, as long as his future with Maeve continued to shine as bright as the day he met her.
While Spencer was hoping to plan a lovely fall-themed wedding in November, his fiancée twisted his arm into postponing it to her favorite holiday: Christmas. The date was set for the two to wed on Christmas Eve, which also meant that Maeve would spend the week leading up to their big day alone, as Spencer had already been scheduled to attend and teach a seminar 45 minutes away in a small town of Falls Church, Virginia.
He'd been packing for the three-day stay, promising Maeve that he'll be back the morning of the 23rd, leaving him plenty of time to sort out any last-minute issues that could arise.
