3.Dinner

As we toured around the castle I met some of the other goblins. Jareth was many things , he was funny, kind, caring, and so much more. He cared for his people and I could see it. Later they arrived in the dining dining area, there was so much food all over the table. "I thought you'd be hungry, and I didn't know what you'd like sooo I just chose everything" he said. "I am hungry" I said nervously. "If you don't feel comfortable eating while I'm here I can go" he said. "No!! That's not it, it's just I'm not used to being able to have so many options of food, my dinner usually consisted of cold soup and water, so this is new to me" I said rubbing my arm nervously. He approached and lifted my chin with his finger to meet his gaze, "as long as you stay here you'll never even have to look at cold soup again, unless you want to that is" he said with a smirk. "Nope never again it's disgusting" I said with a smile. "Very well now let's eat" he said. He helped me to a chair and pulled it out for me and pushed me in. He sat across from me and we started to eat. We talked and laughed as we ate. "Ya know I- I really love this place. It's beautiful and I can see you really like your people" said with a smile. He returned it, "I do. I love my people my kingdom, it kinda has a why if growing on you don't you agree?" He asked.
"I do" I said. "And that's why I love you darling, you see the beauty just like I do, you'd make a perfect queen" he said.
"How can you have so much faith in me when I have none in myself!" I said exasperated. "The reason you have no faith in yourself is because you've been told all your life your nothing, your useless, but your not!! Your everything to me, and once you realize that your place In the world is here with me, you'll understand how I feel." He said resting his hand on her hand. She looked at him and smiled, "I love you Jareth" I said softly. "I love you more" he said.
